"Nice room, just ok location"
As as American, of course I thought the room was small, but it was nicely appointed. Bed was super comfy with quality linens. Concierge was polite and helpful. Housekeeping personnel were so lovely and did an excellent job! I just didn't love the location of this hotel. It's on the outskirts of the city, on the OTHER side of the Arc. So, we Metro'd or Uber'd it everywhere, which is ok, but we were definitely off the beaten path. It would have been nice to have some cute neighborhoods or some attractions within walking distance. The area around this hotel is so congested with traffic, it's a little jarring for a vacation.
First impression for me was good as the check in counter staff was helpful. But unfortunately this hotel are even worst than others 2 or 3 stars hotel. Moat of the hotel will provide 1 or 2 bottles of complimentary water, coffee or tea but not for this hotel. You may need to fork out your own money to buy water at those vendor machine located near the lobby lif. Not that's all, with the amount that we pay, they don't even provide kettle for you to boil water. Water was dripping from the shower bath room. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the amount of money pay to this kind of service provided. I would suggest not to stay this hotel if you prefer on those items that you require for your stay.
"City of Love, city of traffic"
We stayed at this hotel as part of our Viking River Cruise and enjoyed our stay. However there were several things that needed improvement. Our room on the 2nd floor was adequate but there was only one uncomfortable chair which made relaxing in our room difficult. The corridor was long and badly needs a refurbishment. We also found it strange that there was no fridge or tea making facilities in our room. Instead we had to use vouchers to access a coffee machine a fair distance from our room. However the Viking staff were on hand to assist us and we were able to get to know the other cruisers.
"Bathroom not very private"
Her family of four stayed here during our trip to Paris. It was a good hotel and served it's purpose very well. We liked that it was within walking distance to the arc de triumph. The bathroom situation irritated us a bit. It had a large sliding door that was the exact size, if not smaller than the opening. If we closed it all the way you could see in to the toilet from where the beds in TV were at. If we left it open just a bit so that you could not be seen from the TV area, you were than exposing a perfect view from the closet area to the shower. We may do and it was a good place besides that so I would definitely recommend.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful! While there we wanted to visit London and the consierge was able to provide us with flight and train options. The hotel is located right near the local train station making travel throughout the city and back very simple and convenient. With a map provided by the hotel we were able to take the train to all of the city attractions.
