Had an excellent time. Our room was a bit far but it was large and spacious. Superb staff, attentive to all our needs. I would like to thank the F&b manager Mr Sanjay, and all his staff to have made our stay memorable a special thanks to Praveen and Benjo who made the extra effort to make it more memorable. Keep the good work. Excellent service throughout.
"Good Property But Services not upto the Mark"
Well first look at the hotel, looks good, beautiful view from the entrance, quite a few restaurants. I was on my honeymoon from the 2nd to the 8th March. Well they had been receiving a good crowd specially a great many Newly married couples from India. We stayed at the nirvana section of the hotel and rooms were pretty nice. Well coming to the parts which made me not so like the hotel......firstly I had requested for a room change as I had a Ocean View room and the whole view was blocked by a huge tree in front of the balcony, I was told they will look into the same but they never got back to me. Well I dropped something below the bed and I was shocked to see the kind of dirt below it, when confronted with the floor manager he immediately took action and got it cleaned and asked me not to write about the same in my review which was unexpected. But cleanliness and hygiene are important part of our stay and it is disappointing that it is not taken care with seriousness. Well nirvana section has few extra benefits attached like free coffee and beverages till 6.00pm and a cocktail from 6-7pm. Well coming back from our island trips we generally used to get late and arrive at the hotel around 6.30pm. Well try and not go there after 6.45pm because first they will say the time is over and then on some insistence we were shown that we were done some favor by being offered the drink. This I thought was totally uncalled for at all. Also the service is very slow at the cafe, you might have a wait for half an hour for a coffee and sometime give a reminder too. Finally service at dinner was a little disappointing at the hotel. Being Indian we generally had our dinner at the Cumins Restaurant. You reach for the buffet, you put in your room no. at the front desk then you go table hunting as most of the empty tables were dirty. After some waiting and requesting if you manage to get a table then you would be hunting for cutlery and then napkins and water. The food is fine but then there is frustration with the service. Apart from it the property is nice, many selection of restaurants to choose from, the nirvana rooms are nice, the nirvana section has a separate pool as well. The SPA is just OK OK, you can find better. The beach section of the nirvana side is a lot rocky so you would generally prefer the beach at the other side of the hotel. A great no. of free sea activities from choose from if you know swimming, for non-swimmers you have a glass boat trip where you can see below the sea from the glass bottom of the boat, then there boat pedaling and finally kayaking.
"Ann Anderson "
Our last day here and has been absolutely faultless...everyone goes out of their way to help you and attend to your every need. With the 4 restaurants and the variety of food choices, you cannot be left unsatisfied. Ask me...I am sure I am minimum 5 kilos heavier...The rooms are spacious and kept spotless and supplies replenished daily. Cannot mention all the staff individually as they were all great. Having read numerous reviews prior to our arrival I must say I thought we had made a mistake booking here. Honestly I cannot understand how they can even come close to justifying their untrue comments. Guess if you are determined to be unhappy you will be. Thanks everyone. We'll definitely be back. Ann Chantal and little Isabella say bye😁
"Expected a lot better from such a reputed chain of hotels"
We were on our honeymoon trip and stayed at an Ocean view room. I was very disappointed with the experience. Below are some of the issues we faced: 1) A lot of items we expected to be present in our room were not present in the hotel room and we had to call the room service everytime and it took 2-3 calls to get the stuff. 2) The fruit basket given to us had rotten fruits. The only available sizes for t-shirts were xxl. 3) There were flies sitting on some of the breakfast items. 4) Birds were eating from the same stack of bread that guests were supposed to eat from. 5) No water dispenser and guests were not allowed to refill their water bottles at breakfast. 6) We were told that if you need water in addition to the two small complimentary bottles provided to you, you need to buy it. Needless to say the water bottles were really expensive. Overall, the food was unsanitary and unhygienic and the basic stuff like water were not provided. The room service was slow and needed 2-3 calls to respond.
"Nice 7 days to spent"
HI I was there for the honeymoon and i loved the place, will suggest everyone to hire the car and have a dayout with your better half. The nirvana section is too good with a private pool and a private garden, though its far from the reception but the cart is available most of the time. Over all Decent experience
