In the heart of Nice, facing the Mediterranean Sea, the five star hotel is located 5 km from the international airport of Nice Côte d'Azur and halfway between Cannes and Monte Carlo.

"Nice- Carnival Time February 2017"
Hotel is wonderful, view from our room of the sea was beautiful. Loved the location, easy walking throughout the city.Hotel staff was extremely helpful, great with dinner reservations and recommendations. Would go back again to Hotel Negresso!
Lovely stay in quite a quaint hotel. Spend an entire afternoon walking around the hotel enjoying the pieces of art. Good customer service. Initially I got a room that smelled of sewer, but as soon as I complained I was immediately offered another room without any discussions. Since the window in the first room was open, it makes me wonder if the hotel is aware of the problem, and just hope for a guest with a stuffed nose. But points for the efficient way of handling the problem. Tried both restaurants during our stay and I recommend both, even though the Michelin restaurant was quite busy and slightly understaffed. Would not hesitate to return.
We have stayed at Le Negresco on a number of occasions and it never fails to impress. The service level is exceptional and we find the Hotels location perfect for walking to restaurants and travelling around the Nice area and beyond. On this occasion are room was upgraded to a sea view. Although the view was splendid the room did suffer from some traffic noise as it faces the very busy Promenade des Anglais. Our preference are the Deluxe rooms at the back of the hotel overlooking the Domme of the Salon Royal. Very large and well appointed quite rooms and lower cost than the the seaview options. The 2 Michelin star restaurant is expensive but worth the experience. Cuisine and service level are both exceptional. On our visit in April the hotel was offering their menu of 180 euros on a promotional offer of dine for 2 and pay for one. An absolute bargain for this standard of cooking. Without the offer expect to pay around 450 Euros including wine and water for 2 people. We visit Nice up to 3 times a year and will always return to Le Negresco.
"Wonderful kitsch hotel"
This hotel is a wonder! It's big, extraordinary and so kitsch! The staff are very helpful and service very good. At reception, in the bar/restaurant and room service you can not fault anyone. However, the decor is baffling! You do get a great feel for its glory days, back in the early C20th, but some of the modern art alongside some wonderful antiques does seem very ott! The rotunda in which breakfast is served is unbelievable. Kitsch fairground gone mad! It was like walking on set in a weird 1970's horror movie! I suggest breakfast in your room!
"Another great stay"
We've been staying at the Negresco every Easter for the last 3 years. Great hotel and excellent service again. We were in a deluxe junior suite which had ample space for 2 adults and the two cots needed for our 2 year old and 6 months old. The staff is extremely friendly and reliable, from the reception, to the cleaners, concierge and security (although one of the young security guard was a bit cocky and would be better suited as a bouncer). My only complaint is the wifi which kept switching itself off after 10 to 20 minutes.
