In the heart of Nice, facing the Mediterranean Sea, the five star hotel is located 5 km from the international airport of Nice Côte d'Azur and halfway between Cannes and Monte Carlo.

Christmas lunch at the Brasserie...Staff very attentive.....Food fantastic and very well presented all six courses...Wine served a little cold for our taste but was ok... Pre lunch drinks in the hotel bar expensive but enjoyable to soak up atmosphere...Art work in hotel stunning.....Worth the money all round....A must for alternative Christmas experience
I have wanted to stay at the Negresco hotel for 45 years. It did not disappoint. It is quirky luxury at its best. Our room was beautiful and opened up to the Promenade des Anglais and the Mediterranean. Breakfasts in the Circus room were fabulous as was all the food we ate in the hotel. I cannot wait to go back!
Beautiful hotel . Great restaurants. Good food. Magnificent atmosphere. Great service. Spectacular views. Polite staff very professional and friendly. Would definitely visit again to have mire experience.
Stayed at Le Negresco for the last night of our tour of Provence. Our room was very pleasant altough it did not face the Promenade des Anglais. There was some confusion of whether breakfast was included in our room rate - the reception staff had to refer to the original booking before they accepted that indeed breakfast for two was included in the rate. Had I not had a printed copy of the booking I wonder what might have happened. I also wonder how less bold guests would get what they booked and paid for... You need to check you room key holder carefully for make sure if breakfast is included or not, not to have an unpleasant surprise in the morning when going for breakfast. However, all in all, we would recommend staying at the hotel, it certainly is an experience worth having.
"A beautiful building - old style luxury."
The Negresco is a beautiful hotel on the promenade in Nice. It is centrally located right next to the beach and has a beautiful outlook. We stayed here for two nights in February and the weather, to my surprise, was absolutely glorious. The hotel itself is a five star hotel but very much in the old style. Many of the original features still exist and while this may not be to some people's tastes, we absolutely loved it. The staff were very courteous and all coped with our attempts to speak French but able to speak English as well. They were very helpful, polite and courteous. The room itself was very large with a huge bed. The bathroom was immaculate with a freestanding bath and separate shower and separate toilet. You decor and the hotel is old-fashioned and this is eyes out what you're looking for, or it isn't. People looking for modern luxury will be disappointed by the hotel, however if you are looking for old style 1920s decor and tasteful designs, this is the hotel for you. Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting a stay at a hotel which evokes the style of the early 20th century. It is not however suitable for people who want an ultra modern stay. However there are plenty of five star hotels like that, this is much more unique. Highly recommended.
