"Classy and Quaint Boutique Hotel"
We stayed here for 3 nights and originally selected the hotel because it was close to our friends who lived around the corner. But regardless of the proximity, this little boutique hotel was a great find. The room was smallish but very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning in the hotel's quaint little basement room. The location was very convenient - just steps away from the metro stop (St.-Placide) with lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the AC in our room worked really well (it was hot in Paris during our visit). We also liked being slightly off the main tourist route here in the St. Germaine area (and with the incredibly efficient Paris metro, everything was easy to get to). The only criticism is that there was no room safe, which we would have liked. Definitely worth checking out this hotel.
"Super Hotel dans l'ambiance très intime"
The hotel is not only very well located in the 6e. Once you enter the lobby you feel like home. Véronique and Alice are just very warm and welcoming ladies, ready to help to make their clients' stay as easy and well as possible. The rooms are spacious with a typical Parisian style. Breakfast buffet offers a good and fresh choice. The hotel is very clean.
"Lovely, quaint hotel"
We only stayed here for one night (on return back to Paris) but would love to go back and have a longer stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful with arranging taxis. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and elegantly served. We booked a family room (adjacent rooms) for four people. It was perfect! We were put on the fifth floor, which has two rooms. So essentially, the fifth floor was ours. It was a wonderful stay, with terrific staff, and such a "French" feel to it. Would highly recommend.
"Couldn't ask for anything better"
Spent 9 days at Hotel Le Saint Gregoire. Perfect in so many ways: Location 1 minute from Metro Saint Placide. So convenient to all locations. Nothing further than a 15 minute subway ride. Shops of all kind in neighbourhood. Walking distance to numerous restaurants; wine bars etc. A few blocks from Bon Marche stores as well. Walking distance to Luxenbourg Gardens. The list goes on regarding location. The establishment itself is quiet and refreshing. Feels like home .... very clean and staff so friendly and welcoming. Would have liked a small fridge in room to keep water; drinks cold as well as any food to purchase but not a big deal. Also no safe however had nothing to secure and kept passport with me at all times. The building was well secured. I plan to return to Le Saint Gregoire in future.
"Boutique but in need of updating"
I stayed for only one me night whilst on business in Paris. Initial impressions of the reception/lounge are were good. However my room on the ground floor was less impressive. Whilst I appreciate the boutique theme, furniture and decor needed updating. The room was very drab and the bathroom altho very clean, was dated and I was unable to stand under the shower over the bath (I am an average height woman) My biggest problem with this hotel is that when I woke in the morning, my eyes were swollen and itchy. I am allergic to cats and dogs and can only assume that such an animal had recently been allowed in the room.
