"How many stars '"
Well, some reviews call it 5 stars (way way overboard!) Others call it 4 stars...As for me I'd give it 3 stars tops ! This seems to be a Chinese managed hotel so you never ever see the GM wandering around. Hey GM...Check out the real.5 stars and you would see! The place is OK in a pinch...Good sized room...But very very dated. Needs major refurbishment....major...Seriously. otherwise it's way overpriced. Also very noisy at night and the "fushion" restaurant is really a joke. Try the breakfast and observe the old torn furniture. Observe the horrible (for Asia standard) breakfast buffet...A joke... Greasy greasy and maybe 2 star! Need a new f&b manager I think...And a new GM . Oh..And a.new housekeeping manager too..Housekeeping is as miserable as during my previous stay...Don't replace tissues and toilet paper and no turn down service. The guys at the front are nice but there's a palpable lack of "buttoned up management" except for some very corpulent guy on the TV advertorial which is out of order and not audible...No one seems to care. Not going back..Tried twice...Enough now.
"Good but room for improvement "
Enjoyable stay but room for improvements Pros- -Convenient location just five minutes from the mtr. Located on top of a hill so there is a bit of walking required. - Very spacious and luxurious room Cons- - Doesn't come with free wifi -Service whilst pleasant in general could use a bit of improvement. We informed room service for an extra pillow but did not get one and had to ask again. Also we informed reception there was a problem with our shower as it was clogged and would flood. Said would address the problem but failed to. -Can be a bit noisy at night even on a high floor. Watch out for Saturday nights. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back. But some room for improvement.
"a quiet place in the center of night life"
It was a business trip which by mistake I was booked there. It came as a surprise because I was not prepared to be much consumed in any night life before the board meeting. The hotel upgraded me and put me to a big room. I don't mind it is without the harbour view. In fact not too many will stay in room long enough to applause all the limelights instead of bar hopping in LanKwaiFong; it is such convenient to do so and I guess if I am on a leisure trip, I may be forgetting to climb back to the hotel. The breakfast comes as a complimentary is decent and of the good quality. Overall, the staff are friendly and always come with a smile.
"Reliable and comfortable"
I have stayed here a number of times and always had a pleasant stay. The staff are always helpful, the rooms have large spaces and good beds with hard and soft pillow options. Although modern in appearance and feel there are signs that the decor is getting a little tired. Also you will find a better breakfast both in value and quality at a number of local cafes. None of which distracts me from returning again.
"5* hotel with 5* service"
Hotel room was spacious and huge with automatic curtains. Comes with an ironing board and iron so great for business travellers! Plenty of hangers and a safe available. Bathroom is huge with luxury brand shampoo and body wash replenished everyday. Kudos to the housekeepers! The breakfast spread was fantastic too, with personalised service and great view on level 29. Big thanks to Fayez, who remembers how and when I want my eggs+coffee served. A good breakfast + 5* service is a GREAT start to your day..!
