Hotel Locanda Vivaldi was inaugurated at the end of 1999, after painstaking and long restructuring works on the building adjacent to the Church of Pietà, where the Italian compositor Vivaldi was ordained a priest and worked as a violin teacher in the Pietà conservatory.
The 27 rooms of the hotel are decorated following the rules of the Venetian style and tradition, with precious wall fabrics, curtains and drapes, oriental carpets, stuccos, gildings, Murano glass, vases, and chandeliers created by glassblowing Venetian masters.
The panoramic terrace is an exclusive service for the guests of Hotel Locanda Vivald with views going from Venice's Lido to the Coloumn of Saint Mark's Square. During the summer, the terrace hosts the Restaurant Prete Rosso which serves some of the best recipes of the Venetian cuisine with a good selection of wines.
Locanda Vivaldi boasts also a fully equipped meeting room to host all your events from friendly cocktails to work meetings.
