"Great location, lovely hotel"
Stayed for 5 nights in this lovely boutique hotel. The well- equipped bedroom was a good size with lovely view over rooftops to harbour. The bathroom was a little quirky with curtained window wall to the bedroom. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and attentive staff. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi / sauna in the basement late one afternoon. The location of the hotel is on the main street into Split and a five minute walk to the old town and harbour. We didn't hear any noise either internally or externally from our bedroom. I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Luxe and would stay here again.
Such a posh hotel for such a small town in Croatia. Way more than we expected! The massages with Teo were amazing! Good proximity to the bus station as well as the city central. Two thumbs up! Could not be more pleased with with atmosphere and everything that surrounds us. I do wish the hotel had a bar/restaurant that was open at different hours. They do not offer lunch and the bar is not open late.
Great hotel, quirky, modern and very cool. We loved it. It was a big contrast from our cozy little boutique hotels we'd stayed in before. The architecture and design are so cool and it was fun to stay there. It was right at the edge of the market and oldctown so we could walk everywhere. Also close to the ferry so we just walked over to catch our ferry to Hvar. Clean, fun and a great breakfast.
"Location, comfort, convenience"
A very short walk away from the busy seaside promenade and Diocletian's palace, there's a lot to like about this nouveau-elegant hotel erected behind an unassuming facade. While the reception/front desk area is compact the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The best rooms are on the 5th floor, overlooking the jumbly red-tiled roofs of the old town, with small balconies offering a panoramic view of the cruise ship-ferries basins and the Adriatic beyond. Bathrooms are up-to-date, well-lit and (sometimes) separated from the sleeping area by a floor-to-ceiling single glass panel... quite unique. Despite its prime location on a busy main thoroughfare our room was quiet. The wifi works well. Breakfast is included and above average. The staff is helpful and responsive. A great place from which to enjoy lovely Split b
"Boutique with modern look, as close as you can get to Old Town"
Hotel Luxe is your best bet to stay within walking distance from Old Town, but at the same time far enough from its hustle and bustle, brought in by the hordes of cruise travelers. The hotel itself is modern, with spacious rooms and offers a very good breakfast (including the best loaf bread I ate in the entire Croatia). The reception desk is superb and extremely helpful, with a smile. We had a car and it was convenient that the hotel offered free parking. But if you want to ride a bike (a recommended activity to visit the city's parks and beaches), you can also rent one nearby.
