"Great hotel in the heart of Split"
Great location, close to the ferry port and bus station meant that the old town and seafront are in easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was lovely and modern with comfortable clean rooms and good WiFi coverage throughout. The spa and sauna facilities looked really nice and relaxing but I didn't have time to try them out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite proximity to road and port there was no noise disturbance, though may be different in the middle of summer. Very much enjoyed staying here and will definitely stay again when next in Split. The only small let-down was the breakfast buffet - average at best - but there are plenty of nice cafes within a short walk so....
"Better options in Split"
We booked this hotel expecting a two bedroom suite as described but their suite was really the bedroom and their living room. We really just had two twin beds and they "converted" a lounge chair/sofa into an addl bed and then had to bring two rollaways in the room to accommodate all five of us. It's very misleading online when you book regarding the capacity of the room. Management refused to offer additional options or credit. Be careful when booking. You may as well book two rooms versus a so-called "suite". Breakfast was also not that great compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our trip. We stayed at Splendida Palace the second night and it was by far superior to Hotel Luxe.
"Can't beat the location"
This hotel is in the old town, and very near the ferry docks. It's a really short walk to the Diocleteian Palace. The hotel is very modern and comfortable. The staff and service are impeccable. Breakfast was extremely good. There were very few people at the hotel due to the off season, so breakfast was ala carte. One of the best breakfasts in our 6 week trip to Europe. We drove a fairly large car (Volvo XC90), and although parking is included, you have to access the lot through a back alley that has cars parked on one side of the alley. I had the mirrors pulled in and the right tire was against the curb and we had 5 inches clearance on the cars parked. I have a lot of experience driving in Europe, and this was the tightest - but we made it. Parking is in the hotel's private lot and is secure. You do have to walk about 2 blocks to the hotel entrace, and up a few steps to get to the hotel entrance, but it's not too bad. All in all, it's tight but doable. This is the place to stay if you're looking for a place to see the old town.
Always stay at this hotel when in Split. The hotel's got a fantastic central location close to all Split's landmarks. Staff is really friendly and always happy to assist. Hotel decor is nice and contemporary. Rooms are spacious and decently priced. Highly recommended
"Great hotel for sightseeing and business "
If you want to visit Split and explore beautiful Split do not look further. Great rooms and stylish velvet interior in basically heart of the city. 5 minute slow walk to beautiful Riva and all major attraction. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and nice view to whole city and sea if you got upper flor with balcony. Bathroom are nice equipped with everything you need. Reception desk and all stuff are very helpful if you need any assistance or advise. Bonus is small but nice wellness with jacuzzi pool, sauna and gym if you want to rest yourself after sightseeing or hard business day. Basically it is great value for money!
