"Great location, suites and service."
I have recommended several people to stay here, all have been equally impressed. And the restaurants they send you two were first rate, beyond compare. I will be back every time I come to Quebec City. No questions asked.
"Victorian Gem in the middle of Historic Old Quebec"
Hotel Manoir Victoria has an old victorian facade with modern amenities. Great location and amazing staff, from the valet, concierge and other front staff. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. We are a frequent visitor of Old Quebec and this is our first time staying with Hotel Manoir and I must say we found our favourite place to stay. We hope to see you soon.
"Great location and place"
Right in the centre of Quebec city. Close to the train station. Old fashioned at first but new furnished rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable. Amazing restaurant "Sant Houblon". Gentle and professional staff.
"The only place to stay in Old Quebec"
This hotel is always the highlight of my visit to Quebec. The location, amenities, service, staff, rooms, food and BERNARD make this the premier hotel in Quebec as far as I'm concerned. If you are sitting on the fence - just jump! The rooms are spacious and the valet is super fast. I can't wait for my next visit so I get to see the whole gang again.
"Great spot in Historic Quebec!"
We had a great visit to Quebec between Xmas and New Year's. The Hotel Manoir Victoria provided a large, comfy room with two REALLY COMFORTABLE queen beds (instead of doubles, which are too cozy for our family of four). The location was excellent, although it was about a 5-10 minute walk uphill (easy) to get to the Chateau Frontenac, the Funicular, and the stairs to the lower town. On the plus side, there's an outstanding restaurant (Boulay Bistro Boreal) in the hotel, and Boulay also has a great coffee/pastry/sandwich shop at street level. There's a spa, pool and exercise room in the lower level, although I'd rate each of them as just average. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions, reservations, etc., although we did have a little difficulty with housekeeping not leaving enough shampoo (and, oddly, making the beds with bottom sheets that left the mattress pad exposed about 6" at the end of each bed -- both beds! A Canadian thing') We also were not offered any assistance carrying our bags up the large staircase into the lobby, even though there seemed to be only one other family arriving when we did. But overall, we were very pleased with this hotel and would return if we every come back to Quebec.
