The twelfth arrondissement is divided into the four main areas of Bercy, Bastille, Gare de Lyon and the Marais historical Area.
The Bercy district, offering cafés and boutiques in a recent conversion of the wine warehouses, is popular with the Bercy Village and Bercy international Concert Hall. The
Marais historical district is situated at 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
Posizione strategica, a poca distanza dal Marais e da Place de la Bastille. Personale estremamente cortese e disponibile.Comment of G. Salvatore , Italy the 2016-08-10
"Great advert for French hospitality"
Just comeback from a 4 days stay over the Easter Bank holiday with a party of four which we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The Hotel receptionists Celine and Cyril were very professional and engaging throughout our stay nothing was to small for them to do for us and with a smile on their faces a credit to the Management. The Hotel and rooms was very clean/comfortable with nice decor. The breakfast offered had a great variety of choice to suit most people taste and set you up for the day. For the tourist this is a great location to explore Paris with Metro around the corner and the Hotel very reasonable priced. The Hotel decor is quirky/funky and still being upgraded. There were some minor improvements that I would recommend the TV channels on offer were very limited for English speaking guests and the internet signal was poor but who watches TV and uses the phone when you are in Paris for a break.!!!!! A personal thanks for Celine for arranging and Easter bunny for my wife at very short notice it was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning in the near future.
"Very good choice for Paris"
Paris' hotels are usually quite expensive or very tight. This hotel however offers good room and comfortable beds for a reasonable price. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. And it includes good location too, as it is close to the Bastille subway station, which connects you everywhere without transfers (occasionally 1 is needed, but the commute is always short). Line 1 runs close to the Seine, and will take you directly to Arc de Triomphe and Louvre, while line 5 takes you to RER station (needed for Versailles) and line 8 to Champ de Mars (Tour Eiffel). The breakfast is quite expensive, but there's plenty of options on the way to the subway. The Boulangerie Versavel, which is right in the corner, has delicious sandwiches (try the ones with reblouchon cheese) The only issue, was the internet, which was slow sometimes.
"Nice Hotel for the Money"
We stayed hear for 4 nights in March. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very good; it was part of our room rate. I would not have paid the full rate otherwise. The internet is slow. The best place to use the wifi is the dining room area. The Bastille station is a 10 minutes walk away. Notre Dame is about a 20 minute walk. There are a number of grocery stores within a few blocks. The rooms are small by American standards, but normal for this price change.
"Clean & Central"
Friendly staff and clean rooms. In a quiet part of Paris but very easy to get to the centre on the metro. They let us leave our bags in their cloak room as we arrived before the check in time and so we could go out for the day and we could leave them there after we checked out! Very handy. We didn't eat in the hotel so not sure what the food was like.
"Clean & good location, but internet is SLOW!"
Nice, but very small room (which seems to be a common problem for mid-range hotels in Paris). Clean and nice decor. Lovely to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was also above average for a hotel of this standard in Paris, but they did not refill everything, so less interesting in late morning. The location is also great - quiet, but very close to many dinner options and walking distance from Marais. However, the internet was close to non-existing in the room. Worked at slow speed in the lobby, but in the room it was impossible to use it. In 2017 you would expected more! We mentioned it to the receptionist at arrival, but little changed.
