"Perfect location for Winter Wonderland"
Perfect location if visiting Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park and also for Harrods. Room was a little out-dated but had everything we needed. Didn't make use of the restaurant. Reception staff were very friendly. Would stay again.
"very amazing staff"
I would like to thank Simona for her great service during my stay . She is so friendly always smiling and extremely helpful and efficient. Would certainly book this hotel again because of her good service.
"Disappointing. Dated rooms, poor service for the price"
The rooms in the hotel is dated. Didnt get a good service or experience. WIFI is very patchy, expect to keep getting disconnected. We were in London for a couple of days staying at another place before heading to Norway, and are staying in this hotel for the 2nd part of our London trip. As this is our honeymoon trip, we decided to splurge and booked a Club Double room. I was really looking forward to this stay but was disappointed from the moment i stepped in. Check in experience was forgettable. No smiles, no enthusiasm. Room, as mentioned is dated. It was smaller than expected, is really not worth the price. Club lounge - we couldnt get in with our key card. Poor snack selection at the lounge Came back after a day out and found out that house keeping decided to leave our used wine glasses around Bottled water was not replaced...requested the front desk to provide us some bottled water in the room, came back from dinner and found one miserable bottle I will not recommend this place. found much better value elsewhere
I loved the complementary smart phone that one could use while staying in London. Easy walk to the tube station. I was disappointed that the manager refused to hold an envelope for my friend to pick up after I was to check out.
"Lovely rooms with good service! "
Upon arrival was met by a kind gentleman who took our bags inside although didn't get told we had to pre book someone to park our car for us so my husband had to go and park it whilst I checked us in, we were quite early and so went out and didn't arrive back till rather late, to some funny looks from the staff behind the counter, the bedroom was lovely, not the biggest but the bed was comfy and there is an honesty mini bar there. Nice shower and a good tv, hair straighteners just reached the plug to from the dressing table area and there was a handy handheld device you could use to make wifi calls on or use for the internet all charged up and ready to go. Lighting wasn't the best so I ended up doing my makeup in between the bathroom and the bedroom! Staff (other than the gentleman who dealt with our bags) Rather stuffy, so as long as you don't mind them looking at an older woman with an LV bag with copious amounts of perfume on differently to you, normal but still well dressed folk, then go for it!
