"Weekend get away "
We wanted a Hotel close to Hyde park so this was ideal for us as it was only a 5minuet walk. The Hotel was quick and easy to get to from the tube station and Hyde park , the staff where pleasant and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. The room is what you pay for double standard is a decent size room compared to other hotels in London. The bathroom was small but very clean and had complimentary soaps and bath robes to use. We didn't use the restaurant at the hotel but the menu seems to be very nice . Would probably shop around a bit more next time for a different hotel before booking but this was a last minute booking , but for a hotel in Knightsbridge it was a reasonable charge for two nights
"Excellent service and location"
The hotel is ideally located close by to Knightsbridge station, Harrods and other shops. Rooms are a little dated but overall clean and well kept and have everything you would need. Staff are excellent. Friendly and very very helpful. My office had mistakenly booked two nights instead of three. When I arrived back to the hotel, the staff very kindly allowed me access to my room and time to pack my things (I had rebooked for an earlier flight so would not have needed the extra night in any case). To top it off, they also waived any charges for my late checkout. Fantastic customer service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in London.
"Neat hotel for a good location"
On the chic Sloane street, this hotel has the uber luxury fashion brands as neighbours and Harrods at the back. A short stroll to the train station and walking distance from most of the attractions in the area, this hotel is definitely a good choice in London than trying to spend a bomb for a tiny room closer to Soho. Hotel rooms, though small, are enough for your touristy/business visit (you would be out of the hotel room most of the day anyway). Bed is neat and tidy, rooms functional. Bathroom is a tiny space to do your thing and get out. Just like me, if you are looking to pay for a very good hotel (at the rocketing London hotel prices), in a great uptown location, with ease of public transport, then this is the hotel for you. PS: there is a English pub, bang across; but if you are looking for a lounge drinks/dinner setting, walk left to the Buddha Bar next to the Burberry shop.
I had the good fortune to stay at this lovely hotel with my daughter - when we came to have lunch at Petrus and do some shopping - from entering the reception the staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming - we even had a lovely evening meal in the Chinese restaurant - which was yummy - excellent
"Great location, worn room"
The hotel has a great location, there are a lot of cons which include: Cleanliness of the room was below average with old worn furniture and very poor street noise isolation, house keeping were always slow and never provided optimum service.
