Overlooking the lush Grosvenor Square, in the fashionable Mayfair, the Millennium Mayfair is 5min walk from the Bond Street and the nearest underground station, and 30min from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, with the open spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens just a short stroll away.

"Location, location, location"
Would be hard pressed to find a better location in London. Room was very spacious and quiet. However, as per previous reviews, don't let the photo with the bell captain fool you. There was no one in sight the whole time and we had to struggle with our bags through the doors.
"Best Location in London"
The Millennium Mayfair is the best-priced hotel in Mayfair. Very English, excellent service and food and superb Concierge staff. Rooms are a bit old-fashioned but huge windows look out on Grosvenor Square. Walking distance to Bond Street shops, Piccadilly, excellent restaurants and underground for going further afield.
It is shameful that this hotel has such high ratings on tripadvisor. Don't let the photo with the bell captain trick you. There was no one in sight. I had to carry my bag down the stairs. The lobby hasn't been updated in what looks like 50 years and it smells of it. The same with the rooms with tattered furniture, no drawers or shelves for clothing other than bedside table, mold in the bathtub, leaky faucets. This shouldn't be part of the millennium group.
"Poor and safety hazardous"
I have checked in today and I have booked a club room and a superior room. The club room (710) is a major disappointment and safety hazardous. It's too small, it shouldn't be listed as a club room or even a standard room.. It's more of a store!!! The roof is super low and dangerous, and even the superior room that we have booked is much bigger than this one! We requested to change the room one we saw it but the reception still haven't changed it.. The lady at the reception was really slow and gave us tons of wrong info. My family abd i love the millennium and it's not our first stay here but it may be the last one because up until now no one of the staff have been helpful.. This is so much below the millennium standards and we're super disappointed, what an awful start to the vacation
I'm presently staying at the Millennium, and just needed to post this to say a BIG thank you to Georgy on reception. She is always happy, with a big smiley face. Nothing is too much trouble and she will go out of her way to make sure everything is ok. Georgy is a credit to the hotel. Thank You Georgy
