"Helpful and convenient location near Oxford Street"
We stayed for just the one night and had informed the hotel staff that we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. There was a lovely surprise for her in the room including a gift bag full of goodies and a complimentary birthday cake (which we all thoroughly enjoyed!). We stayed in a junior suite which was clean, tidy, and of a modest décor. The hotel is also a convenient short walk to Selfridges on Oxford Street and Bond Street station. The staff however are the hidden gems who we found to be pleasant, polite and helpful without exception. We would definitely consider staying again if the opportunity arises.
"Vacation in London Dec.2016."
Stayed at hotel from Dec.3-12. Rooms were old and major issues with shower drainage. It clogs up. Also, the heating system malfunctioned. We were like getting toasted inside the room. Thermostat was malfunctioning. The staff Prajina and Beirut were helpful. We were upgraded to a room overlooking the park. Breakfast was ok at the hotel . Before leaving for airport I used the lounge at top floor for shower and had some beer and snacks. Staff at lounge Alina and Lina were doing a job well done. Definitely I would go to stay at millennium Mayfair . Important thing is that I had a good stay despite of the thermostat issues . Staff makes you feel important .
"Fantastic position , low quality hotel"
Although in a very nice area the hotel is far below expectations , urgently needs renovation and improvement in services. Breakfast quality low, rooms with heating system not working properly. We had to ask for replacement of toiletries .....
"Unpolished and Crass"
This hotel does not provide even the most basic facilities even though they charge premium rates. They charge 5 pounds for an adapter (and no, they do not have universal charging points in their rooms), have 1/3rd of their elevators disfunctional, and have a concierge who did not even know the walking distance to Harrods. The concierge sent us to a restaurant which served only seafood even though we mentioned thrice that we were vegan. The club that they boast about is nothing more than a gimmick with rude staff and a buffet that is barely stocked. I would recommend not staying at this hotel.
This is an expensive hotel with 2 star quality. The room was basic and looking straight into air conditioners. A power converter is 5 pounds and the only amenity is a mediocre workout room. Yes it has history and prestige but location you can get at many other hotels that are more modern and have free internet, access to power converters, kitchenettes, and location. Nadler hotel is one but there are others.
