Sehr gutes, gepflegtes Haus mit einem ausgezeichnetem Service, in dem man wirklich als ein Gast des Hauses und nicht nur als ein zahlender Kunde betrachtet wird.Comment of D. Georg , Germany the 2015-11-13
"Perfect in every way"
We loved every aspect of this magnificent 5* property From our room, welcome gift to the service provided by all the professional staff we encountered A special mention to Daniel & Wolfgang they made our stay memorable even mentioning our 25th wedding anniversary with a hearty congratulations Our room was 100% at all times (I'm an Executive Housekeeper) from the services to the evening turndown I couldn't have asked for more excellent all round If you are staying in Munich the Palace is a must Many Thanks from June & Harry Bennett Adelaide Australia
"Great classic feel"
Only stayed here one night connecting through on the way home. Place reminded me of a classic luxury New York hotel. Rooms weren't large, but weren't small either. We prefer modern design but there is something to be said about an older hotel sticking with "classic" decor without making it feel like you're stuck in some Victorian mansion. Great location close to shopping, museums, restaurants. Mustafa at the front desk was a hoot!
"GREAT HOTEL IN QUIET AREA WITH FABULOUS FOOD & STAFF"
the hotel is in a quiet mainly residential area but with easy access to central munich by taxi or underground. the staff was fabulous, informed, friendly, and accommodating . sitting in the garden with a glass of wine was very enjoyable. dinner at night was top notch. the weiner schnitzel was the best ever. they also had smaller portions which helped especially after a full day of eating at oktoberfest. the rooms are a bit on the small side & the bathroom cozy. fortunately we only slept in it.
"Nice hotel, little dated, great staff "
Overall it feels like it was a really beautiful hotel, it's just a bit dated. Little things like paint that needs touch up and some dinged walls. Bit low ceilings, but it's still very pretty and the staff is super helpful. We stayed in a "classic double" room which is a bit small and although common in Europe I don't find the two beds shoved together very comfortable. The hotel is in a nice area of town and we found a great Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel.
"Differing views between my wife & I!"
We stayed just one night at the Muenchen Palace. I thought the room was 'Ok' but certainly nothing to get excited about. The bathroom was tiny for the size of room (I.e. Struggle to get two people in at the same time). The finish was ordinary. However, my wife really liked it. She felt very comfortable there & loved the decor. This is why we have landed on 5/5. I would have said 4/5. The public areas were good & it was well located. The staff were efficient & friendly (e.g. Parked our hire car without any fuss & booked a local restaurant for us). Would stay again if in Munich but wouldn't go mad about recommending to everyone.
