"Great value for great location"
It is a small boutique hotel along Sante Fe Avenue that's more basic than luxury. The location is excellent and convenient as it's just right above a subway train station and across a bus stop that takes you to San Telmo and La Boca. It's also just about 10 minutes away from Galleria Pacifico and Florida Street where the shopping is so it's great. The hotel lobby is quite nice but the rest of the floors do show their age a little. In fact, we were at first given a room but had to change room as one of the aircon wasn't working and there's also a slight sewage smell from the bathroom. But the other room we got was okay. The rooms are all very spacious with a nice wooden floor big enough for you to do a bit of Tango if you wish. The bed I find is a bit too firm so if you're not used to sleeping on very firm mattress, it can be a bit uncomfy and the sheets could also be better. The bathroom is spacious and nice. Service is great and the front desk staff are very helpful. In fact, a couple of days prior to my arrival, they sent me an email to ask if I would require airport transfer so I thought that's helpful. Also, I must say the room service is really quite tasty. I was in Buenos Aires during the Xmas and New Year's period so I did order room service and the pasta penne regate was really quite yummy and so was the vegetable soup. Overall, the hotel is comfortable but I wouldn't categories it under a luxury hotel and it does need a bit of maintenance to upkeep. Location is great so it's overall a decent stay.
Room is great, perfect size. the bed is very comfortable, bathroom is ok, the whole place is very clean. even though it is located in an avenue it is very quiet, the hotel was full and no one disturbed us, it means walls are thick. It is a very old hotel, it has been renovated and is very well take care of. The people are very professional and nice. Front desk es great, they do the impossible to assist you at all times. Breakfast is excellent, all type of fruits and pastries, yogurt, etc. The hotel is very well located, closed to everything.
"Best location hotel at reasonable price in Buenos Aires"
The location of the hotel made accessing metro, bus, and center of the town very convenient. The staff was cordial. Non-Spanish people should have Google translator with them since many hardly speak English.
A good quality 4 star establishment that serves a decent buffet style breakfast. It's directly opposite a charming park, steps from the military museum, directly opposite is Dandy on Santa Fe Ave (excellent food in a cool hip ambience), and a couple of blocks from Florida, the pedestrian only shopping district. Rooms are on the small side but nonetheless comfortable with renovated modern decor and bathrooms. Nice.
"Perfect for a short stay"
We only stayed here for 1 night when we arrived in Buenos Aires before travelling on but it was perfect. We arrived very early from our flight from the UK (10.30am) and they allowed us to check in as soon as we arrived which was brilliant. The room was clean, nice bathroom and very friendly and helpful reception staff. The breakfast was particularly good too - a buffet breakfast and the choice was vast - in fact the best we experienced for the whole trip. Would highly recommend.
