"The President wasn't coming!"
Arrived to be told the Junior suite we had booked wasn't available so we were in the Presidential Suite!! It only took up a whole floor! Great advice by reception on walking to Puerto Madero and had a lovely lunch and walk about the area. Later the English receptionist advised us to go back to that area for a steak restaurant which was stunning - full of locals and very swish. The next day we had a car booked to take us to the airport for our flight to Santiago but it was delayed in traffic (surprise!) so he said 'leave it to me, dashed outside, hailed a taxi, explained the situation to the driver who didn't want to take US dollars, dashed back into the hotel, changed our dollars into Pesos, loaded the luggage and waved us goodbye! What a star!!!
"Good hotel in the heart of the city"
We had an event in the Puerto Madero area, so we chose to stay at the NH Jousten. The locations ended up being very convenient not only to access the Puerto Madero area, but to explore the whole city. The rooms are clean and spacious, specially the suites. The service was excellent, from the front desk to housekeeping. Even though there are plenty of dining options in the area, try the restaurant at the hotel, they offer great Spanish food.
A hotel well placed in the city centre. Close to established shopping areas and the developing restaurant scene at Puerto Madera. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good but a touch pricey and service in reception was top class.
Staff was very helpful & attentive, going out of their way to help us and responding promptly to request. We were allowed an extra-late checkout to avoid having to move articles to the the luggage room. Location next to Metro Alem is ideal. Breakfast, while smallish in range, was good: fresh fruit, omelettes to order, homemade smoothies, fresh honey from a comb. Scope for improvement: The rooms, while clean, could do with a lick of paint. And some of the fittings could benefit from an upgrade.
"Very comfortable and pleasant stay"
We had a layover in Buenos Aires before returning home and chose this hotel to have a comfortable night before a long travel. Our stay was indeed very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to give us a nice experience. Nice room service too.
