"Just not enough"
This hotels wants to be a boutique five star hotel but just doesn't get it. Stayed there several times and the rooms are small (make sure they don t give you a sous terrain room) but clean. However the price is high and they will charge you for almost all extra. The flexibility especially at the front desk is very low. E.g. staying there with a group and demanding a guarantee of 100 euro per room . Even if they have all your details. Furthermore Wi-Fi is not working well and the lift had issues
"Small but comfortable"
Hotel Notting hill is located close to the city center but in area with not so many restaurants close to it. There is a tram station just in front of the hotel and a metro within 7-10 mins walk. The rooms are wide enough with comfortable beds and everything you would need for a short or longer stay. The personnel at the reception is friendly and helpful; just have in mind that check-out can be a little slow (the strange thing is that you pay the breakfast and the 5% city tax separately from the room rate). The breakfast is rather plain and the restaurant area is quite small (can be a bit crowded in the mornibg). The hotel offers a 24-hour open gym (small, but better than nothing). In general not a bad place especially for business stays.
"A very nice stay"
Great hotel . Good location . Lovely staff . All very good but try not to book an attic room if you can ...... A little depressing !! The rest of this establishment all very good . I did book out after one night because there were no alternative rooms .
Stylish hotel with lovely rooms albeit a little on the small side. Type of hotel you go to with other half ....... Breakfast good and pretty good location wise too. I'd definitely return Fairly pricey but I'd rate 5 star
"Stylish, modern hotel in great location"
Loved the location and style of this hotel. Particularly liked the great coffee in the room. I would definitely stay there again, just because it was so convenient for the canal boats and a tram stop outside. There were also two great restaurants nearby. There were however a couple of niggles. Firstly, there was a huge blow fly in our room, and as we couldn't open the windows we could not allow it to escape. We did ask reception to help us but they couldn't find it. We certainly didn't want to sleep with it buzzing loudly around our heads so managed to zap it ourselves after a bit of a fight. I also found the see through bathroom doors a bit off putting. There are some things that shouldn't be shared with your partner/roommate, so it did feel uncomfortably embarrassing at times! Finally, the quality of the food at breakfast was pretty awful. Thankfully we missed it the first morning, but the second time we did try to eat. The waitress on duty pretty much ignored us, didn't immediately offer us anything to drink and didn't explain that we needed to help ourselves. There were also no plates left so I had to keep trying to get her attention to get some more. My recommendation would be to eat breakfast elsewhere.
