A very organized hotel! Everything was perfect! Breakfast is extraordinary but a bit expensive (i had it in the price of the room). Very good location also! I will visit again!Comment of K. STEFANOS , Greece the 2016-12-31

"Wonderful - exceeded expectations"
The staff was great, always helpful and smiling, offers an amazing breakfast! all sorts of food, food is highly fresh, peaceful quiet environment, in a huge shopping area and in walking distance of all central sites and also 2 minute walk to train and underground train.
"Sit & relax"
Hotel staff (doormen, at the reception, the cleaning crew, at the spa, in the lobby) were all very friendly and, despite some of them who were very young aged, very well trained in the service area as it is required in a house like this. We arrived very early and were immediately proposed a room that was already available to lay down our baby, our luggage was immediately taken care of. Room was spacious and was like it was displayed on the online pictures. Spa area is very clean and very inviting, you could order your breakfast there too. We didn't eat in house so can't judge the breakfast nor evening dinner. One minor issue though: the drinks in the lobby are too high priced so that didn't persuade us to stay indoor, though the lobby and ginbar are quite comfortable.
We had a great stay here. There was an issue of maintenance noise which wasn't disclosed to us,but they compensated us with free breakfast for two days (which was absolutely delicious-so much to choose from!) Would definitely stay here again. The only problem was that the single beds weren't quite big enough, they reminded us of child beds! But they were comfortable and the hotel has a pillow menu!! Thank you for a great stay, we had a fabulous trip and the staff were super helpful and friendly.
"Fantastic hotel for a memorable Berlin trip!"
Our second time in Berlin, last year we stayed in Mitte and decided we fancied a change of area and we were not disappointed! We got the train from the airport for 3.40 Euro each, around 42 mins to the station at the zoo, the hotel was a short walk past the Waldorf hotel and the bikini shopping centre. First impressions from the outside were very deceiving, the hotel forms part of the Europa shopping centre and apart from the main entrance it just looks like a basic concrete building nothing fancy... until you walk through the rotating doors were you enter a beautiful classically styled lobby and greeted by friendly concierges and front of desk, check in was fast an efficient, we had booked a business room through Expedia for 2 nights, but were delighted to receive a complementary upgrade to a club room on the 8th floor. Our room wasn't ready (we were early arrived at hotel at 12pm) but informed it would be available in 20 mins, so we decided to have a drink in the lobby, 2 small beers were just under 11 euros, again lovely staff and we were provided with a selection of nuts. Our room was beautiful, and spotless, it had a seating area, desk, plenty of wardrobe space, nice lightening features, Tv with an array of channels and a lovely big marbled bathroom with separate bath and shower, the only fault I would raise is the queen bed was 2 singles together with nothing keeping them together so there was a lot of pushing them back in place. Not sure if it was because we were on the club floor, but we were given a turndown service which was much appreciated especially being out all day. Room was cleaned each day and the staff we met were very smiley and actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs, this definitely reflected on the service standards. The spa was one of the biggest perks for this hotel, the gym looked well equipped too although we didn't make use of this, the pool was lovely with an array of different jets and water features, no access to the sauna as this was chargeable. We didn't eat at the hotel but did use the Italian across the road for lunch which I would recommend! Fab pizzas! And very reasonable! Location wise it had everything you need for a break in Berlin, it is based in a busy shopping area, great transport links and a selection of bars. Would we go back' Definitely and would recommend it to all! Thanks for a memorable trip Hotel Palace Berlin!
"Most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at!"
My partner and I have stayed in MANY hotels around the world, but the Hotel Palace Berlin is the best I have ever stayed at. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful with absolutely everything, the hotel spa had the most amazing heated pool (I usually find hotel pool water too cold, but here it was very warm) The business room i was staying in on level 4 was a dream, with a street and shopping centre view of the front of the hotel (sounds boring but it was actually very beautiful at night). The internet and WIFI was very strong the whole time and had no problems at all. I would say the hotel breakfast is very expensive but its a business hotel, so we did not have breakfast the hotel and instead when to the local cafes and bakeries near by for fresh sandwiches, pastries, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The location of the hotel is so central, directly opposite the street is Berlin zoo, you literally just have to cross the road, the rail and train station was at the end of the road so maybe a 3 minute walk and I think there is about 4 shopping centres around the hotel so we had no problem finding places to eat for lunch and dinner. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and did not want to leave. If I am ever in Berlin to stay I HAVE to stay at the Hotel Palace Berlin.
