Easy access to the Hotel Panorama from the “Marco Polo Airport” by taking the shuttle connecting boat "Alilaguna" (10€ per person; every 30 minutes), or from the Treviso airport (Ryanair), by taking the shuttle bus to the Piazzale Roma.
Friendly staff, nice room, good breakfast. Location near the waterbus. Super!Comment of T. Suzanne , Netherlands the 2015-11-27
"Lovely stay in great location"
A friend and I stayed here for two nights, we asked for twin beds and got a wonderfully large room on the third floor. The room was clean but lacked coffee making facilities (hence the score of four). The continental breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. Jean Luca on reception was incredibly charming and helpful and made our stay. He was extremely helpful in recommended places to eat and with our schedule to the train station. He was good fun and made the perfect aperol spritz. The hotel is opposite the water bus rank which takes you to St Marks etc. The lido is a great spot to base yourself when visiting Venice, it's much more relaxed then Venice itself.
"Perfect location perfect hotel"
This was our second stay at the Hotel Pamorama and yes I was worried that it wouldn't live up to our memory. Guess what guys I was wrong the hotel was even better than I remembered. The staff are great helpful without being in your face. The rooms are great with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect just across from the ferry terminal. Lido is just the best place to stay it's far enough away from the crowds of Venice and has a great and free beach. Spend the day on the beach and go into Venice at night Perfect. Just by way of warning if you want to stay at a flash modern hotel the Panorama won't suit you but if you appreciate good honest service and value for money the please try Hotel Panorama. You'll love it too. Oops I forgot to mention the terrace it's great too
"Quite unfriendly and unkind"
In a great rush to get our boarding passes printed the concierge gave us misleading directions to a nearby tobacconist while standing next to a perfectly good printer. It seemed to be unnecessarily unhelpful.
"Good for a place to rest our heads for a night"
We stayed in Venice for one night and stayed here based on the price and availability. It is further away from hustle and bustle of Venice, but you can take the water taxi to get there. There was construction going on right outside when we stayed and the room was really small but we literally just stayed there long enough to sleep and get ready the next day so we were able to manage. The front desk staff was friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay for more than a night or two, but if you are looking for a place to make a quick stay I would. I also should note we actually stayed in May of 2014.
This a wonderful hotel which is ideally located just opposite the vaporetto stop. Being on the Lido meant that we had easy access to St Mark's but the bonus of a quieter environment with plentiful good standard, reasonably priced, restaurants. Our group of six include one friend in a wheelchair and we were delighted to find that for her there was a specially adapted room on the ground floor. Our room also had views across the water to the centre of Venice. The outstanding asset of the hotel is the staff. The FOH staff were a mine of information and they could not have been more dedicated to ensuring that we had an enjoyable holiday. Breakfast was very generous and the roof terrace was ideal for drinks before dinner. We would wholeheartedly encourage people to book this hotel. We definitely hope to return.
