"Relaxed accomodation during harsh business trip"
I was so pleased to stay at Paseo del Arte while participating to the World ATM Congress at Feria de Madrid. I had the best conditions to refill my batteries and get ready for another day of business. I noticed another large group during our stay, and seemed they were involved in total different business. The hotel was able to accommodate so many peoples without generating any personal discomfort, and that was big plus from my point of view taking in account that I was not a simple tourist there, I had a quite busy agenda for those days. Mentioning that Atocha train station is nearby, subway is nearby, El Retiro Park and Botanical Garden are nearby, walking to one main shopping and restaurants area is taking only minutes, I would say this is a great choice.
"madrid hotel close to Atoche station"
This hotel is within walking distance of atoche train station and 10 mins walk to Plaza Mayor. In fact we walked everywhere from the hotel. The accommodation was typical of a city hotel. Reasonably well appointed. The summer eating/drinking restaurant/bar was not open as it was only just into March but the lobby lounge and bar was and was fine for a nightcap for us. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice. The staff very accommodating and helpful. Would use the hotel again.
"Near train station, modern rooms"
A nice stay on a noisy central street. Rooms are small but comfortable and our room, at least, was very quiet. As always, the rooms are too warm in March before the AC is switched on, but we were lucky to have a large window opening onto a quiet corner. We did not sample the breakfast fare. Everything was brisk and efficient, with no cause for complaint. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the central train station, an amenity we enjoy since we take the trains a lot when in Spain.
"Good standard - fair prices"
This hotel is close to the Atocha Metro station and it is located on a busy street with a fair share of restaurants nearby. The rooms are pretty good and the hotel has a gym and a bar/restaurant. So if you are looking for just a place to stay this is a good option due to their fair prices. There is indoor parking if I remember correctly.
