"Only if you need a hotel in the Center, to spend the night in"
For the room price, I thought it will be better. The only good thing is the location - walking distance from the Center of downtown. Furniture old, the bed was moving every time I was turning myself, breakfast very poor in terms of food choices, noisy neighborhood. If you are going for a city break and want to taste the Prague's night life, you can take it into consideration. But check the price, first.
"Short Stay in Prague"
Very nice Hotel for our short Stay in Prague with the Photographer-Club. The Room was modern and clean. Had a nice view in the Morning out of the Room to the near Plaza. And the Breakfast Buffet isn't huge, but you have enough to choose and i'd never hat to wait for some refill. If i ever going back to Prag, this is the hotel i wanna stay in again.
"All you could need, great value hotel"
Perfectly located for anyone wanting to explore this great city. Travelled with my husband and another couple. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly. We booked this hotel because if reviews we had read and l think the reviews were honest.
"In the heart of the city a quiet oasis."
Hotel Perla has fine rooms, a very good and helpful staff and a good breakfast. The location, between the New and Old Towns is perfect for walking to explore the entire city. It is also located near various subway stops which makes it easy to explore other parts of the city.
"Lovely little hotel in a great location"
My sister and I stayed at the Perla last weekend and found it to be extremely convenient for sightseeing around the city. It was also spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely - a great variety that would suit almost everyone. The dining room has a nice view from the windows and is bright and airy. Although the room was perfectly adequate we found that the TV was a bit too small for the size of the room. We had a tea and coffee making facility but we had to actually ask the cleaner to provide clean cups and glasses as this wasn't done voluntarily. We also had a free transfer from the airport to the hotel on arrival. We took advantage of the welcome drink that consisted of a very small glass of mediocre wine, The hotel reception was very helpful for the most part, booking a night time river cruise and providing a plug adapter, and organising our taxi on departure. However, there was a bedside plug in our room which wasn't working and the bathroom door got stuck and I was locked in there for about 15 minutes which was quite claustrophobic as the decor is black and there is no window. The man who eventually opened it actually chastised my sister for locking the door when in fact it didn't stay closed unless you locked it. When he did manage to get it open he simply swung it open and walked off. No apology was forthcoming and it wasn't even mentioned again. I found this to be disappointing. The barman was friendly to start with but became abrupt when asked about whether they could provide lunch for our visitors. But apart from all that I really would stay there again as the hotel is central, clean and reasonably priced.
