"Insuffient amenities and cigarette smell "
This is the first time I have visited Prague and it won't be the last. However I will not be returning to this hotel. The location was perfect however, on arriving at the reception, the reception staff were unfriendly and rude. It was as if we had disturbed her break by walking into the hotel. The room was a decent enough size a very small bathroom with empty soap dispensers at both the sink and shower, no shower cap which I find is a necessity in a hotel. The smell along the corridors was like a cigarette smoke smell that drifted through the whole hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast were also very polite. However again with the reception staff did not know general important information for example how long does it take to get to the airport...something all front desk staff members should know. I would suggest some proper customer service training should be had for them. Overall I will not be recommending this hotel or coming back to stay here.
Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms and excellent food, fantastic value for money. Staff very efficient and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated, easy walking distance to Charles Bridge and Old Town area.
"Noisy and smelly rooms"
Well located in the city center and shopping area. Street is very noisy at nights so was my room. People singing shouting laughing, cars horning. In the morning I had the kitchen smells in my room and in the evening cigarettes smells. Fortunately the breakfast room is lovely and people serving it are very nice.
"Good value and location"
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, which bt booking directly grants you a pick from the Airport (on time!). The location is superb as you can walk everywhere. At night there was some noise but nothing that would prevent me from sleeping. The only complain is about the dust, there was a lot of it (specially looking at light by night). Still, a very good value for money, would stay again.
"Perfect location -right between old and new town."
Perfect location. Walking distance of all of pragues attraction. We stayed in room at the front of hotel on first floor. We were a bit worried about the noise having read previous reviews but double glazing meant we couldn't really hear anything which I was relieved at as I struggle with sleeping unless it is really quiet. They also provided earplugs in case noise was an issue! Room had all the amenities needed - even a plug socket by each bed - perfect for charging your phone at night and plugs near a mirror which is great for straightening hair (rare to find both of these in hotels and it is the little things that made the room more comfortable for me) Breakfast was simple but nice. No complaints. No issue with finding seats for us but was quite small which may be an issue on weekends maybe'' Free safe in room - though too small for my ipad. Would say there again if we visit prague again.
