The location of the Hotel Petit Palace Plaza is perfect for both tourists and business travelers. Nearby you will find the amazing buildings of the Stock Exchange and the Ritz. A short walk via Plaza de la Lealtad and Alfonso XII street brings you to the beautiful park El Retiro.
The hotel is also situated in the so-called collecting Art Walk – an area with the three most prestigious museums of the city such as the Museo del Prado, the Reina Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
Thanks to its unbeatable location other emblematic attractions such as the Gran Via, Retiro Park and the Plaza Mayor can be reached easily and quickly. Going to Airport Barajas International Airport and the IFEMA only takes a short car ride.
Very good hotel in excellent location - particularly for museums and galleries.Comment of B. Stephen , United Kingdom the 2014-09-30
Desayuno completo. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda, repetiremos.Comment of C. "What a great place"
We are a family of 4 adults & stayed in a quad room. What a great hotel, located in a great part of Madrid, close to the Prado & Thyssen galleries. Great location to explore Madrid from. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Beds were very good and easy to sleep on. The bathroom was super modern with a great shower, very clean and a pleasure to use. Room price is excellent. We would definitely stay here again, it was great. Room had a bar fridge.
Great location for Museums, Trian, Retiro Park, some attractions(about 15 minutes). Very friendly staff, good breakfast! Room was nice, clean. Bed was comfortable, Interior design is fantastic. I'll return
"Nice hotel offering family rooms"
Pros: - Family room (2 single beds on a platform + choice of bunk bed or sofa bed): it's a fun experience, even for adults - Reasonably spacious for a well located European hotel in a major city - The soap smells amazing - Very good water pressure, the water *can* get pretty hot if you desire, showers offer multiple settings (rain, handle, wall) - I would recommend the airport transfer option booked through the hotel: it's the same price as taxi (30 EUR as of May 2017) and offers a private (black) car, English speaking driver (many locals still don't speak much English--not a problem, but sometimes comprehension makes life easier, especially on trips to the airport), in car wifi (did not use, but advertised), and bottled water (25cl x # of passengers, although I'm sure you could ask for more) - Pretty well located, although Madrid is very walkable pretty much anywhere in the city. Hotel is next to a very nice park and has a cab stand just down the street. - Room, linens, facilities, were generally clean - Staff was friendly - Did not use, but it appears that they offer tea in their lobby, free of charge, throughout the day (11-22:00'). They also offer free "spa" water in the lobby as well and seem ok with you filling water bottles for your day out Cons: - "European" air conditioning (it doesn't go nearly as chilly as in the US, even set to max--note that this is in May and already getting somewhat warm but is a common issue not unique to this hotel that I notice when I travel in continental Europe in the summer. Turning off some of the recessed lighting helps keep cool) - I don't particularly care, but the walls are painted exposed brick. Some may find that less appealing. Walls were generally clean.
"A lovely hotel in a great location."
Hotel is one block from Retiro Park and the Ritz, Prado and very near the airport bus. Quiet, and accessible. Didn't have the breakfast but there are 2 nice studies for reading. The rooms are certainly adequate, high ceilings and relatively spacious. We had a 3 person room for a night and it was quite good. Desk employees are helpful. If you don't need all of the bells and whistles of a mega hotel and want something quite charming The Petit Palace Lealtad Plaza is an excellent choice. Would stay again.
"Very recommended hotel"
We spent a week in this wonderful hotel. The location is great and the crew even better. Breakfast is very special and reach but the dinning room is a little bit dense. Free Wifi all over the place plus coffee tea. I would recommend this hotel without any doubt.
