The Petit Palace Plaza Malaga hotel is situated round the corner from Calle Larios, one of the busiest shopping streets, next to Picasso Museum, the Cathedral of Malaga, Thyssen museum, Grifralfaro Castle, and the Citadel.
It is also 2 kilometres from the railway station and 10 kilometres from the airport.
This unique hotel is located centrally in the old town. Great service and good breakfast buffet.Comment of C. LW , Netherlands the 2014-11-13
Muy bien situado y un personal dedicado y muy profesional.Comment of R. Ramon , Spain the 2014-06-21
Stylish Hotel, great friendly staff, clean and large size rooms. Location second to none really have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We skipped breakfast as we wished to just have a coffee and croissant in local cafe so cannot comment on the food side.
"Good, clean and friendly hotel in the middle if Malaga"
We found the hotel to be clean, tidy and very welcoming. We didn't make use of the free bikes to explore Malaga but this was a nice touch. We only had breakfast once in the hotel as we felt it was quite expensive at 15 Euros per person, however the food was of a good standard and very tasty. We had originally been given a hotel room on the second floor at the front of the hotel, but unfortunately we didn't get a great deal of sleep due to the carnival being held in the main square. The hotel staff moved us to another room on the third floor facing the central courtyard which was a bit quieter but it had a very cramped bathroom in which you had to squeeze past the toilet to get into the shower. Not the safest of layouts. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
"Good hotel in central locatoon"
Stayed overnight prior to catching flight. Friendly welcome and taxi booked for following morning. Hotel is modern, clean and well located in the old town in Malaga. Only drawback is that taxi dropoff (but not collection) was outside the pedestrian zone which meant a walk of a few hundred meters to the hotel. Good breakfast in the morning.
"Superb location "
First visit to Malaga old town -what a great place for galleries, tapas, old sherry bars and fish restaurants! The hotel is in a perfect position, metres from the 'posh' shopping street and all the sights; our room overlooked a quiet courtyard so was very peaceful. The room was fairly spacious and modern, spotlessly clean with a very good selection of toiletries. Reception staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. We paid extra for breakfast and although it wasn't cheap it was well worth the money with a great selection and excellent coffee However... as previously mentioned the room was very hot(for Northern Europeans) with no ac Two single beds next to each other do not make a double bed. I know this wouldn't be an issue for everyone but I hated the bathroom door- made of opaque glass and not a proper 'tight fit'. I like a bit of privacy in the bathroom. The arrangement here was as if the toilet was just in the middle of the bedroom. Not great!
"Ideally situated "
Couldn't be closer to everything... lovely little hotel with superb service ... receptionists and cleaners in particular. Would highly commend - great breakfast and just a relaxing place. Only pointers room far too hot couldn't turn down thermostat ( but I didn't mention it to hotel so my fault!) also chairs a bit worn in dining room... but those are minor. As an ex hotelier I really couldn't fault the staff... really professional and happy, rooms well though out great safe and super bath... and so close as said above, to restaurants etc... and ai mean close. Great to escape to... top tip also if coming from Airport take the underground ... so easy really cheep and quick.. enjoy 😊
