The hotel High Tech President Castellana is located in a privileged area between the Paseo de la Castellana and the bustling Serrano Street, near the Plaza de Colon, National Library and just a short walk from downtown. Near the hotel are the three museums on the Paseo del Arte: Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen, and some of the main shopping streets of the capital as Goya, Alcalá and Velázquez.

Muy bonito y muy moderno por dentro. Para mi gusto la cama demasiado dura y las almohadas demasiado gruesas. El desayuno con un poco de todo: bollería, fruta, embutidos, huevos, salchichas... El trato por lo general muy amable.Comment of G. Fernando , Spain the 2013-12-09
"Perfect spot for a Family and a dog"
We took a duplex room on the ground floor, in this well-located hotel very near the Plaza de Colon. For us, the most important factor was that they allowed us to bring our Golden Retriever with us (they have no weight restriction). The room was modern, tastefully decorated, and had everything that we -and the dog- needed. The staff were extremely pleasant, even offering to go in and check on the dog while we went to the theatre etc. We didn't see any other dogs there during our stay, but can understand if people prefer to select another hotel in the event that they dislike dogs.. That said, the dog was not allowed in the breakfast room, and basically we only brought her straight in and out past reception to our room. The hotel offers the loan of ipads, bicycles etc., and is very convenient to the Serrano shopping area, with the Corte Ingles just across the road. And finally, price-wise it was definitely great value for money. Worth registering as a member on their website for free, as this entitles you to discounts when you book the room.
Clean and modern hotel in a good location. Breakfast buffet is one of the best for the Continent. Staff are very friendly. Only cafe food in the evening but nice enough should you not want to venture out. What is not to like.
"Great location but not 4 stars hotel "
I been just for one night, clean room , good breakfast, don't expect real 4 start hotel. No drinking water in the room. I had problem to rest because in my floor a desperate dog were barking for more than 3 hours. If you looking good service I don't recommend this hotel .
"The lobby smell like a litrine...."
Everything else was perfectly good, from reception, rooms amenities. Fix the plumbing smell in lobby! All else was at or above standards for a business style, boutique hotel. Well located for shopping, and transportation.
"Great Location, comfortable stay"
Hotel is located in Salamanca, very central and nice part of Madrid. Overall hotel is good, although room needs a bit of a refurbishment, and view to internal yard- not very good. Probably nice for short stays - 2-3 days. Good value for money as we had a 4 person family room and price was adequate. Have stayed in Petit Palace Art Gallery before, and the room there was a bit better. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
