"A very nice stay"
I really can't complain. We had a lovely time. The desk manager was friendly, but reserved. What is wrong with that' nothing. It is a low-key staff, not the usual sycophants one finds in 5-star hotels. There was construction in front of the hotel, but it wasn't noisy and didn't create a problem for us. There were a few places nearby to eat, and that was helpful after a long day of walking around everywhere. Would definitely stay again.
"great location, friendly and helpful staff"
I stayed at the Hotel Pierre for 3 nights for a whirlwind conference in Milan. Fortunately for me, the hotel was an easy walk to a cool shopping district and the Cathedral (Duomo), so the little time I had for sight seeing was easily put to use. The hotel affords small, rather simple rooms, but they were quiet and dark and the appointments (shower, bathroom, desk, bed) were nice. I'd have liked to have had a little more space to do some yoga, but honestly, I didn't go to Milan to do yoga. Around the corner was a great gelateria, and with 2 blocks each direction ancient churches and remnants of the city wall. A couple other things to mention about the HP: they have a nice breakfast spread, done in a very civilized way in a pleasant dining room with white table cloths and coffee made to your order (I liked the cafe au lait, which came with 2 little pots, one of hot milk and one of strong coffee). The other is that when I had to catch a taxi at 4:30 in the morning to the airport, they arranged it all for me and gave me a wake-up call too. I don't speak any Italian, but the staff did speak fluent English. Great place, I'd go there again.
Description tells it's 5 star but it's not even 3 star. Faulty aircon. Small bath.u will hit walls all the time usinh.small room. Faulty light switches on bed side. Only good is its location .Breakfast is ok. Not recommended at all .
"Lovely boutique hotel"
We stayed here during Milano FW because we preferred little intimacy rather than bustling in crowds for which this hotel is perfect. When you enter, the lobby is very luxurious with piano, crystal chandelier, cosy armchairs and dandy-like paintings. The room was decently-sized, nice and clean bathroom. It's just walking distance from touristic attractions. During our stay, Via de Amicis was partially under construction but I assume it's probably settled by now.
"Clean and comfort"
Very large beautiful clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is continental. Good location close to the city center and other attractions. Only disadvantage is that no one is there to help to carry luggages.
