"Great hotel in Madrid"
We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Preciados. The room and bathroom were clean. I like the heater and bidet in the bathroom. Different choices of beverages were free daily. The hotel is situated in a nice location, near a lot of restaurants, cafes, malls, short walking distance to Puerta del Sol.
"Great location, fantastic location, excellent lodgings"
We booked Hotel Preciados last minute after getting the run around at a neighboring hotel. It had been a terrible experience that day and we needed a bright spot in our day. The staff at Preciados were brilliant and their courteous and friendly manner and professionalism made our stay great. The accommodations are comfortable, we'll designed and maintained and very clean. The restaurant was good also. The location cannot be beaten for exploring Madrid. We walked everywhere in the city from this very central location.
Having visited the restaurant once in 2012, I finally returned and had the carbonara, it was fantastic! The staff and service was perfect and quick, so much so I returned the following day for lunch! The staff were extremely attentive and couldn't do enough to ensure that your time in the restaurant was enjoyable. I would highly recommend to everyone when visiting Madrid!
Great location (close to the Gran Via). Pretty quiet, since Calle Preciados is a pedestrian-only street. The rooms are probably small, but you have anything you may need. Not expensive at all. The breakfast-buffet is gorgeous. One episode worth a mention: in one of my (thank God, very infrequent) struggles with jet-lag, I was up at 1 am. Went to the lobby to read. One hour later, moved by compassion, the concierge asked me whether I wanted a coffee, mineral water. I accepted. He refused to charge me. Little things that go a long way.
"A great location"
I visited the hotel during my stay in Madrid and I absolutely loved it. The hotel location is excellent and of a walking distance to almost all touristic areas. Street with many restaurants, almost everything that you could need you can just find it there. A nearby department store, oh and Starbucks of just one minute away and a street with all great brands if you are looking for shopping. Room wise it was good and nice, loved the ceiling internal light which you can change, the balcony, and the overall friendly staff who were very helpful and responsive to requests. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely repeat it. Keep it up!
