"Great to be back!"
Hotel Q! is our hotel of choice for exhibitions at Messe Berlin. We usually book 10 rooms for a week and the hotel manages to satisfy the requirements of all colleagues each time. The location in Charlottenburg is ideal for the Messe (only 3 S-Bahn stops from nearby Savignyplatz) but also good for the evenings when the team can choose from the many restaurants and bars in the area, although we often relax at the hotel's well-stocked bar. Hotel Q! has quirky style: a glitter ball slowly rotates in the breakfast room and some of the bedrooms have the bathtub next to the bed but this all adds to the charm. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back.
"a hidden treasure in the heart of Berlin"
This hotel really has it all : small and cosy; very nice staff; great, silent rooms with exquisite matrasses and a marvellous breakfast ! If you stay there, don't forget to rent a bike during your stay
"Better than expected. "
We only stayed here for 1 night at the end of our 10 day road trip. First of all, we arrived by car and found parking to be very convenient: road side parking in front of the hotel is available which is free at night and on Sundays and there is also an option of a garage 1 minute away. It also only took us 15 minutes to get to Tegel airport. About the room itself, it was smaller, but comfortable. The only comment I have is the curve around the bed makes it a bit hard to get on and off. Otherwise, it was very good. Note that the shower is transparent so if you are not travelling as a couple, that might be a problem. The big pluses were the breakfast and the spa. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices, good coffee (French press) and opens until noon in case you have problems waking up in the morning. The spa was so nice and relaxing, larger than expected with a sauna, steam room and relaxing area which opened until 10 pm. A good way to end a day, especially if you have been walking around a lot.
"Unique Property in a Fantastic Neighbourhood"
From the moment you arrive at Hotel Q, you can tell that it'll be a different experience than you've experienced before. The colours, the layout, the excellent staff and the design are all elements that have been molded together creatively to enhance your overall experience. There is a funky, but trendy feeling about the hotel. The unique design of the rooms is a change from what you're accustom to when it comes to hotels. Even the shower with its' glass doors facing the room itself was an interesting design element. The neighbourhood is a great location as well. With a variety of restaurants and retail locations within a short walking distance from the hotel, you're never far from anything. Multiple public transport options are within a short walk from the hotel as well. The U-Bahn, S-Bahn and countless bus routes, including Route 109, which offers service to Berlin's Tegel airport, are all very close. Overall, from start to finish, this property is great and I'd gladly stay again.
"Q stands for Quality, Quirkiness &"
Fabulous modern boutique hotel just round the corner from main shopping street. Rooms are modern, with quirky design details. Sleep quality is fantastic. Shower is top-notch. We didn't bother with bear fast buffet which was a bit of a rip-off and instead had it in a cafe across the road. Bar is excellent, with a superb range of gins including some we hadn't tried before. Staff are extremely helpful. And at under 90 euros a night it was a bargain. Highly recommended.
