"A meeting room with a view............"
Spent two nights at the Radisson Blu for a conference. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable - tea and coffee making facilities were provided which was very welcome. The one downside for me was that although set up as a 'double' the bed had two single quilts whereas i like to wrap myself up in a big one - however I'm sure that double quilts must be available...........I just didn't ask. Huge TV but I didn't use it as it gave me a chance to catch up on work. The wifi in this hotel is fantastic - I didn't experience a dead spot anywhere and the speed was almost as good as I have at home. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I only had lunch on both days and that was a very high standard - nicely presented too. When the meeting got a bit 'slow' I must admit to being distracted by the view of the marina - hard not to really.
"Perfect for a weekend stay in Marseille"
We visited Marseille for a long weekend in early August and the Radisson seemed the perfect place to stay. It was well situated and had good facilities. The pool deck is a real bonus and we spent two days there in blazing sunshine. I have no complaints about the hotel at all. The room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were able to change in the gym and stow our bags with the Concierge. When we returned to the hotel later in the day, the bags were already in the room, which was helpful. Breakfast was excellent - gorgeous French bread and pastries. The staff were helpful and polite. The pool area was really nice and we used this a lot. We had Happy Hour drinks every night and spent two days basking in the sunshine. The staff were very good in ensuring everyone had somewhere to sit or lie. They were also very good in ensuring people were considerate in the pool and not too noisy. One group of children were asked to be quiet on a number of occasions and this was appreciated. There are plenty of nice restaurants and attractions close by and if I was returning to Marseille, I would definitely stay here again. A comfortable and well positioned hotel.
"Great Hotel- stayed for 3 nights "
Loved the hotel, we had a Vieux Port room and it was well worth the upgrade as the room was of a good standard and the views were stunning over the port. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating- they arranged late check out of our room with no hassle at all. The roof terrace is a nice relaxing area- gets the sun all of the day. As it was late September there were plenty of available sun loungers. Best of all the hotel is so well located, on the more quiet end of the Vieux Port and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which was very convenient. Had a excellent stay.
"Hotel in Marseille"
This Hotel is in a great location, very easy walking distance of the old town, ferry services and so on. Rooms are modern and very clean. No on-site parking but there is a publi payable car park witin easy walking distance and the hotel concierge will park your car for you on arrival and fetch it on departure. Worth mentioning that on a Friday night the hotel bar is clearly one of The Places To Meet in Marseille so it gets packed with young people, bouncers on the door and it's very noisy. Other nights though it was very pleasant.
"Very good city hotel"
We had one night in Marseille when touring the area and chose the Radisson Blu because of its position in front of the port. It was perfect in every way; very friendly service, comfortable bed, good breakfast, great location, excellent wifi. It also has a good pool area on the roof. I would certainly stay here again if ever in Marseille.
