"A good basis to visit Iguazu falls"
We stayed at Rafain Centro just one night after visiting the breath-taking Iguazu falls. We found clean rooms, nice personnel and a good breakfast. Tough placed i a quite busy street, the room was quiet. Good value.
Hotel had a great staff, good location, good restaurant and accommodations. It was close to the Main Street of the city, stores, restaurants and night life.i have nothing else to add. Good, good, good.
"Very Helpful Staff, Great Location"
I spent 2 nights at the hotel and stayed in a small suite. Whereas the hotel does need some maintenance, you get great value for money. The hotel is located in the city centre, near the main avenue that takes you to the famous Iguassu Falls, but it's quiet and private enough. There are many nice bars and restaurants in the area, as well as buses both to Paraguay and the falls. Breakfast had a good variety of fruit, pastries and Brazilian snacks. But what really made this place were the staff; everyone was very pleasant and helpful; a delight to deal with them all. I'll definitely stay there again if I return.
I'm Brazilian and I went with a British friend of mine, the hotel is well located, the attendants speak English, our room was a double room but it had three single beds and the room was spacious and had a balcony besides a very clean and big bathroom, really good. The breakfast was also rich and delicious, many options of food and drinks. The stay in the hotel was very pleasant and we received help for everything. Excellent! I'd go back again for sure!
"Not quite as 'Lux' as branded."
Stayed her for 4 nights and had a mixed experience. We booked a 'luxury' double room, the description of which was as big a bit of spin or double speak we've come across. It was functional, nearly as good as a motel room. It was not in any drug fuelled hallucination - 'luxury'. All the notices in the room warning of the dire consequences if there was an unaccounted loss of a flannel, cup , sheet of lop paper etc. - did not exactly encourage a feeling of welcome or trust. Having said all this, there was a lively bar outside and several restuarant choices within a reasonable walking distance. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was often cold and limited if you came down later in the session. There wasn't a huge desire shown to get anything fresh or renew any empty service areas if you were unlucky enough not to come down with the herd. Overall, acceptable but a curiosity.
