"Expensive but central"
If we all based our reviews on location, this hotel would score very high, located off the Main Street so it's quite and close to Vatican City (20m walk) and other famous place. However, the staff are genuinely not interested to help you as a guest - rather texting or speaking loudly on the phone. The breakfast room is the size of two hotel rooms were you have to stand up to let other guests reached the buffet table. And the food at the breakfast is basic and not very good (cold bacon, green eggs etc.) Overall after paying the bill - it left us with a deep sense of disappointment.
"3 nights in rome"
It was a little clean hotel and all together we liked it . The only problem was the evening shift lady that did not know how to smile , not rude , just unhosty like...nevertheless , clean room, good size bathroom, great air condition , well situated. Small elevator and corridors lead to a reasonable size room . Watch out when you walk out! Straight to the street.
"Not worth the price"
Budget hotel at mid-level prices and staff with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. The location is good and the AC works, but I have stayed at more than one B&B in the same location with much nicer facilities at half the price.
"Better than expected"
I stayed in this hotel last night as my usual hotel (I come to Rome 2-3 times a month) was fully booked. Many of the small hotels in this area are often old, run down, and managed by unfriendly staff. This is not he case here. The rooms were not brand new, but they have clearly been updated recently. There only seems to be 1-2 people on staff at any given moment, but they are always smiling and happy to help people with whatever they need. And the location is perfect. Location. Location. Location. The price was a tad high, but for the location it was worth it. If my usual hotel is fully booked again, I will likely stay here.
"Does the job!"
Firstly, have to say this is a lovely small hotel and we were lucky to be upgraded to a lovely room with a terrace and quite a bit of room which was perfect for our week long stay. The room was lovely and the maid cleaned the room nicely and changed the towels as you would expect which made the experience even better. The safe was free with the room, the air conditioning was brilliant and wifi was strong which was good in the evening when we needed it. The only things I would say is that although the lady in mornings at the hotel reception was beyond lovely we did find one of the receptionists slightly abrupt but I put an emphasis on the fact we did not speak Italian and perhaps her English wasn't strong which would be our fault rather than hers; it just made us slightly nervous as a young couple but we were most likely silly. Be aware it's a bit tucked away so get to know where it is as its not that well sign posted. However it's location was fantastic and was about 6 minutes away from the Vatican and we walked everywhere including to the colosseum, spagna and various other places. The room was perfect and very comfortable, there was some damp related mould but in all seriousness we did not care as its a thing that happens and honestly the room and terrace was lovely.
