"Spotters will love it but overpriced "
Stayed here for one night prior to local business meeting. Rooms are great if your in to aeroplane spotting. Comfy bed but my main issue is the price, two beers at the hotel bar €30! I did get an upgrade but I wouldn't advise paying for this as the breakfast room is tiny.
"Very convienent location in airport and near train station"
The hotel is located directly above the train station at the airport. It is very easy to stay here and take a 30 minute RER train right into downtown Paris. It is also less than a five minute walk to the departure area for Terminal 2 This is an excellent place to stay if you have a morning flight from CDG. With the possibility of a train strike always present in Europe, staying at the airport before an international flight is always a safe idea. We dropped off a rental car at CDG, and the hotel website was not clear which return was the most convenient. We choose the return area for Terminal 2E and 2F and it was only about a ten minute walk with bags. The room was fairly quiet for being right at the airport. They have double windows which cut down on plane noise. Our room was on Floor 1, which was low enough that it seemed that people outside could look in the room, so we kept the draperies closed. I would have preferred a higher room so we could leave them open. There is a security guard at the door from the airport and they scan your bags with a metal detector for security reasons.
"Can't beat the location"
As every one else mentioned, this Sheraton has the best location, which was why we chose it to spend a night before our flight back to the US, despite the mostly negative comments on the unfriendly staff. Contrary to most people's experience, we found the staff--front desk and concierge--extremely helpful. The young woman at check-in was very nice, with a great smile, and the concierge (the one featured in the photo on the wall behind the desk) made sure we know where we'd be going the next morning and even printed our boarding passes for us. He was very patient when we needed to retrieve flight information from our room (twice!). We didn't eat at the restaurants, partly because of the negative reviews and partly because of the exorbitant cost. But a mere five-minute walk took us to Brasserie Flor, a relatively cheaper place, where we had great duck confit once more time before heading home.
"High expectation poor delivery "
Such a disappointment Booked a suite and Platinum guest No room even to plug a laptop in the room except on the floor Exec Lounge unhygienic with food dumped and left Bar food took 30 minutes and was cold with the excuse of too busy to serve You would have thought that prime spot and great building someone could be bothered about service After a tough day serving my customers I want clean efficient comfort and this was not delivered in any form
"Expensive Bar Bites, Free WiFi"
Paid €8 for tea. Bites are available but are very expensive. Very comfortable place to work in the bar area, good service, and TV's dotted around for your entertainment. The service was prompt and friendly. Best of all free unlimited WiFi with no registration required.
