"Poor, dark rooms with stains on the carpet"
This hotel as a good location and nice entrance hall. Reception is polite and very formal. Biggest downside are the rooms. Not at all on 5 star level. I first stayed in 401 for one night - small room, very small window to a backside courtyard, dark with lots of stains on the floor. Next to the elevator and very loud. After one night I asked to get another room - now on the 6th floor. Front Desk attendant said "it's far from the elevator" - its exactly one room further down the corridor. Same issues: small, stained carpet, dark. I don't know which category I have since my company booked it for me - but one of the more disappointing hotel experiences. Not up to 5 star standards or Sofitel standards.
"Nice hotel, nice location"
Stayed 3 nights as part of a group tour whilst visiting Argentina. Room was spacious, well lit (unusual for hotels these days), large and included all the necessary comforts for an extended stay (more than 1 night by my definition) - king bed, couch, coffee table, writing desk & a couple of chairs meaning 2 people, the number for whom the room was designed, could sit & relax comfortably. Only down side was that the shower cubicle was very small and you couldn't shower properly without knocking the door handle or the flow adjuster. Located a 5 min walk from a large park & the city's main shopping strip which was very convenient.
"International Business Hotel with upscale amenities"
I was traveling for business and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. This is clearly an upscale business hotel with travelers from around the world. I stayed 2 nights for business meetings on site and was very impressed. The staff was excellent and I believe most could speak 3 or more languages. They also went the extra mile when helping... on one occasion I was looking for a few items to bring back for my kids and not only was I told the closest place to find them but also some tips on the purchase. I would highly recommend this hotel for international business travel. I did notice a few families as well so probably a fit there as well.
"Very convenient to city"
Very clean and comfortable Above average standard, good free wifi etc Staff always helpful, decent restaurant, It was a no stress stay, in a very nice part of town, walking distance from the main city area. We enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires
This hotel is in a great location. The service was fabulous and the breakfast was amazing. Only slight minus was the size of the shower it was tight. Otherwise everything was fantastic and I would go back.
