"Everything We Needed for a Short Stay"
Territorio was a welcome sight during the rigorous travel surrounding our stay. Each day, our party left before sunrise and returned after sunset. This hotel was the perfect place to lay back and unwind after/before the busy day. I was happy to see that they did not charge for the bottled water in the room (unlike the other hotels we stayed in during our time in the country). I also appreciated that the staff provided us with a small breakfast outside the usual hours. We had a very early flight, so they offered us coffee and croissants at a time of our choosing. Be careful of the rugs in the room. There is minimal friction between the rugs and floor, so my husband and I (and my sister in another room) slipped on them.
"I cannot understand that this hotel is only the number 3 in rating"
I stayed here 2 nights. The rooms are large and this is what I really like a separate shower and bath. You do not see this in Argentina. The hotel has great views over the bay. It is not located in the center. I walk of 20 min to the center. The great advantage is that you can sleep here with the window open. The center of town has to much noise. The mutual livingroom/bar is nice. I had a wine here and it s peacefull and trendy. The staff is really nice. There was an issue with my booking with easter but they sorted it out and I received my room. You do not have a a large options for dinner but sufficiënt and really tastfull. If you like trending hotels this is the place to be.
We just returned from a lovely time at Territorio. It was end of season for them and so there were only a few of us sharing this lovely space. The room we had was number 401 and it was beautiful and big! We could see the whole bay from our bed. This must be perfect during whale season . pros: Nice building, lovely people, great views, and good breakfast (only scrambled eggs were hot, otherwise its a nice continental) cons: 3km walk to town which can be tough when it's windy,no full restaurant
"Very nice, modern hotel in Puerto Madryin"
Overall, it's a good choice to stay in Puerto Madryin. The building is very beautiful and modern-looking (while not hyper-new), definitely stylish. Rooms are nice and cosy, with everything you would expect to rest after a full day in Peninsula Valdes. However, a few negative things need to be noted: - the place is far away from city center (this can also be positive) - it's very difficult to find it with a car - Google Maps is not pointing you to the right location and the sign is difficult to read from outside - more important, there's no restaurant apart from some bar-style food (mostly cold). I believe this is not acceptable for a structure of this level .On the opposite, breakfast was quite good!
"Cool and well appointed, a tad out of the way"
Definitely a nice, very well designed cool hotel in a town that is a bit rough around the edges. The fact that is not within immediate walking distance from any restaurant or the center of the city cuts both ways: a pain in the back of the Patagonian winds are blowing; or a way to force you to walk for some 20' and burn off a few calories before dinner.
