"We finally found our Hotel in Madrid!"
We are traveling a lot for business and pleasure and we finally found our hotel in Madrid! Besides the fantastic location, the Hotel Unico is an art piece of art architectural vise. The rooms are spacious and very confortable with all the facilities you can ask for! The hotel staff is extremely helpful and professional. Many details will make your stay different, if you want to take a drink in the different salons, very nice home made sandwiches and snaks with the last press are offered to you. You can also profitated of the hotel car, Range Rover's Vogue last model that can pick you up at the airport or bring you around Madrid for a very reasonable price! We haven't had the time to try the 2 stars Michelin restaurant but the breakfast showed the quality of the place, all what you could ask for was presented to you with excellent quality products. All this points and many more make the difference! You definitely have to try the Unico hotel, it will make your stay unico!!
"Best Hotel In Madrid"
Best Hotel in Madrid. Exeptional service, far more personal due to the boutique nature of the hotel and compared to bigger hotels like the overpriced Ritz for example. Arriving by car is always stress free as the doormen do the parking. Will keep returning.
"A very pleasant surprise"
I hadn't heard of Hotel Único before, so it has been a very pleasant surprise and a place I will definitely recommend and bookmark for my next trips. It's a 5 * very centric hotel: it only takes about 25 min. walking to the very heart of the city; Puerta de Alcalá, Gran Vía... etc not far from the absolutely wonderful Museum El Prado (unmissable if you are an art fan). Nevertheless, the hotel is located a bit more to the upper side of the city, Serrano neighbourhood, a very quiet, residential and shopping area (I recommend walking with your eyes closed to the entrance of the hotel if you want to avoid temptation). Not a sound was heard at night. My room was the Standard one and yet I couldn't find a single fault to it. Comfortable bedding and pillows, lots of different and tasteful light points, a nice carpet, a desk spacious enough to work comfortably using my laptop and other gear on it, complimentary teas... The bathroom was very modern, spotless and, like the rest of the hotel, very tastefully decorated in black and white. Loved the use of tiles and semi transparent closings for the different bath areas. The bathtub was spacious and comfortable so you will put to good use the bath salts provided in the amenities. There is a good gym, but I liked even better to start the mornings running in Madrid's main park, El Retiro, just 7 minutes away (running). Gorgeous! You can do about a 6 km jogging route there. Breakfast buffet is served in the garden space. The hotel has even a 2 Michelin star restaurant by Ramón Freixa. I tried the short menu and I can't but strongly recommend it. So many different flavours and creative ideas in each single dish! China was masterfully coordinated with the different dishes and waiters had a perfect timing. It looked like a ballet. The Chef himself welcomes you and takes the orders, asking for your food preferences or allergies so he can tailor the menu as much as possible to them. Staff was also incredibly friendly and very resourceful to help you with every need. Great find!
"Madrid with Style. The best way to relax in the city"
We spent only one night in Unico, but believe me it was far to short. The staff has been extremely friendly and respectful, making our stay totally unique. Rooms are relaxing and modern. Amenities are good and the breakfast in the outdoor Terrace is definitely helping to start your day in a different way We will definitely return back
