Set on the city's most opulent axis, where the recently revamped Serrano, Ortega y Gasset and Claudio Coello streets meet.
Shops selling the most exclusive Spanish and international brands are within a stone's throw of the hotel. What's more, one can stroll through the Retiro Park, take in the leading museums or visit the most important financial centres of the metropolis. If you wish to enjoy the city’s varied cultural offer or its historic centre, they are only a few minutes away.
"Good hotel in great neighbourhood. "
This hotel is really nice. Rooms are well equipped and have nice beds to sleep in. A little dark perhaps, but creates a feeling of relaxation when you come back form the street. The area in which the hotel is located is super nice, with lots of restaurants and stores near by. You can also walk to most tourist attractions.
"Excellent hotel and facilities"
the hotel was simply perfect. The room was very large and spacious with a good size bathroom. The lounge area and bar were great, complemented by excellent cocktails and service to go with it. The gym, pool and steam room are just what you need to relax. Nothing I can fault with the hotel or the service.
"Excellent service and location"
Very classy and first rate hotel in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid. Excellent service and very attentive staff. I must if you want to experience a true Madrid experience. Most of the staff speak English and are very attentive to the travelers needs
"Upscale, Salamanca location"
This is a very nice hotel, likely one of the best in the city. It is located in an upscale area of Madrid, the streets lined with expensive designer shops. I was not able to eat in the restaurant in the hotel, they were booked out for several days, but it is Michelin 2 star. You will need a reservation some time in advance if you want to eat there. Warning--it is very expensive. The room was clean and the furnishings upscale. I have two complaints. First, there were no windows in the room. Instead, a skylight. Weird. Second, I booked a king size bed but the room I received had two twin beds, strangely pushed together. The beds pushed together eventually had a canyon in between. Not pleasant. I should have asked for another room but I was only staying one night. If you fly into Madrid, you can take the Aerobus to Atocha station for 5e. But this hotel is a good 30 minute walk from Atocha so I suggest the taxi option, fixed rate 30e. The wireless worked well. No complaints.
"Great hotel in great city"
Incredibly attentive staff, beautiful hotel, and a fantastic area. The food and shopping in the Salamnca district is great and this hotel puts you right in the middle of it. Strongly recommend this hotel if you're planning to stay in Madrid.
