Set on the city's most opulent axis, where the recently revamped Serrano, Ortega y Gasset and Claudio Coello streets meet.
Shops selling the most exclusive Spanish and international brands are within a stone's throw of the hotel. What's more, one can stroll through the Retiro Park, take in the leading museums or visit the most important financial centres of the metropolis. If you wish to enjoy the city’s varied cultural offer or its historic centre, they are only a few minutes away.
"Lovely high end boutique hotel"
My wife and I stayed here in May, and enjoyed our upscale stay. Beautifully finished rooms, and fantastic service, including turndown service with a chocolate. It's also well situated, with most major attractions within a short walk or cab ride. I'd have given Unico six stars if they could've done something about the rain. (Though they did in fact have an ample supply of umbrellas!)
An excellent stay. A very high level of service, as would be expected of a hotel of this class. The area is great, upscale shops, lovely tree lined streets and very central to key Madrid sights. Bed was comfortable, back garden is a wonderful escape and the complimentary bottle of Cava was a very nice touch.
My wife and I stood one night at the hotel to celebrate an especial occasion and we were both delighted by the experience. The customer service was at the very highest level from the begging until the end. Common areas were spotlessly clean and fresh, decorated in a very stately fashion, a perfect ambient for either business meetings or to relax at the end of the day enjoying a very well prepared gin tonic. The breakfast was remarkably good, I encourage guests to try smoked salmon and Spanish ham! Location of this hotel is privileged; it is surrounded by mid to high luxury stores of clothes, jewellery, furniture, and at night there are plenty of options to have diner in very appealing restaurants with good Spanish food.
"Great Location, Very Good Service"
My first time at this property. The location is excellent if you are planning to spend your days around the Salamanca area of Madrid. Boutique shops, market and luxury walks around Madrid can all take place around Unico. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I used the hotel vehicle to go to the airport very convenient. Would stay here again. I love the area.
"Great hotel in great location"
Hotel Unico in Madrid was a terrific experience for me and my wife. The hotel is close to a lot of interesting points, such as stores, platea Madrid, and nice restaurantes. It has a charming garden attached to a 2 star michelin restaurant. I would definitly stay there again if i visit Madrid.
