Went here with my daughter for her birthday mid March. It's a small hotel just around the corner from the main square so top marks for location. The hotel staff are lovely, spoke perfect English and will book any trip or restaurant you want. We didn't eat in the hotel because there are amazing little coffee shops and restaurants open for breakfast, the local food is divine so try it first before going to the international chains!. The location couldn't be better. Just outside the hotel is a street leading to the main square with some nice shops and the train station is a short walk away with a huge shopping plaza. I loved it so much, I booked again for the Christmas markets. Kraków is a beautiful city and I immediately fell in love with it and felt lucky to find such a nice hotel. Our room was a twin (402 I think) and had everything you would need for a stay including tea/coffee making facilities, great shower, mini bar, bottled water every day etc. My compliments to everybody working there, especially housekeeping who left the room spotless every day.
We stayed in the Unicus Hotel for 4 nights. The staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast that was included in our booking was ok. Very continental and offered a selection of deserts which we found odd. You could take out a tea or coffee afterwards if you liked. Drinks from the bar was not a bad price. We asked for a quieter room and so was on the 4th floor in a room with eves. We found it a little dark and on the small side. Presentation and cleanliness was perfect. Cases can be left at reception. Don't be afraid to venture out into the side streets. Food and beverages are much cheaper. Book your trips VI's the tourist information kiosks.
"Top Grade Hotel"
The hotel is situated in the middle of Old Town. Friendly reception and very organised. The rooms are very clean, tidy and contain the added extras of bottled water, tea and coffee plus a well stocked fridge. It is a lovely hotel.
Hotel Unicus was an easy walk from main train station and also close to Old Town platz to begin sightseeing. Breakfast was fabulous and a great setting for dinner in the basement. Staff was very helpful with tourist advice.
Good clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. Superb location, just a two minute walk into the main square. Hotel arranged airport transfers and were able to book our trip to Auschwitz & Birkenhau
