If I visit Miami again I would definitely come back to Hotel Urbano. The hotel is in downtown Miami and you can get on a trolley for free to roam around the city. The art collection they display is beautiful and if your in the lobby at the right moment you just might see one of the artist. The hotel is clean and the staff make you feel so welcome. Robert and Sarah at the front desk made sure that we were always taken care of. Thank you guys. The bar in the lobby was a plus. The free breakfast was a pretty good selection. The room was clean and modern. As a single mom traveling with two teens I have to say, I felt pretty safe in the hotel and the area we stayed in.
"Value for you r money"
In many articles this hotel gets critics. I stayed for two night waiting for my flight home. Hotel is not far from MIA international airport. 15 min. drive. I was quite satisfied! Room was clean and spacious and everything worked fine. Window away from pool area with big traffic highway outside but no sound of it in to the room. Free wifi! Friendly and service minded staff made check in and out swift. One backlash is valet parking which is very expensive but as I understand that is common in central Miami. A 15 min. walk to Metromover and free shuttle bus outside in the street. No supermarket in the vicinity. Breakfast quite sparse but satisfies your basic needs. Great pool area! Recommend to everyone who needs a non expensive stay in Miami.
"A real hidden gem"
This is the location you want if you really know Miami. Minutes from Downtown, Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. A short drive over to Miami Beach. A boutique hotel with friendly service and comfortable rooms. A nice garden pool, typical continental breakfast and a little bar. Not a resort but a great place to call your home while you frolic or do business in Miami.
This place was on top of things from the time my buddy and I pulled up to the time we left. The staff is very friendly, professional, but you can tell they're genuine. Valet was reasonably priced, and we even gave them beers the last day because they were all so cool to work with. The rooms was clean, nothing over the top, but definitely well worth the price. The location overall is great since we were only a short drive from downtown and the beach, although finding it was a little confusing at first (maybe my GPS just sucked). I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to have a great time in Miami, but not try to be in the middle of the madness on Ocean Dr/Collin Ave...all while saving some money.
"Great location for Miami Open Tennis Tournament."
Went to Miami with my wife and friends for the Miami Open (tennis) in Key Biscayne. The hotel was in the perfect location. Few minutes in car. From $3-10 with Uber/Lyft. Room was very clean, very comfortable bed with good free buffet breakfast, The reception people were very nice. Definitely will stay there again next year.
