Over all satisfactory.Comment of C. Kapil , India the 2015-11-27
I had a very relaxing two day stay at the Warwick. It faces Gare Cornavin and you can't miss it unless you are as idiotic as me and come out of the rear of the station! Anyway the hotel is modern and comfortable. The bedroom includes tea and coffee making facilities (you don't always get this in Europe). Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, at reception, the bar and the breakfast room. Great stuff.
I booked a room through travel agency and was confirmed a double room for single use at 344 CHF for one night. Room number 201 was assigned to me. The door is astonishlingly narrow, around 55 cm, I could not even enter straight. Bathroom was small (probably less than 5 sqm) with no bathtube and room's furniture and moquette from the 50's. I soon asked for a room change and was told the hotel was fully booked. The next day at the front desk I asked for a discount as the room was not a 4* standard and absolutely not worth the price. Of course the manager didn't appear and only answered after a couple of days by e-mail. After 10 days they told cannot make any discount insisting my booking was for a single room, which simply is false. Next time I will walk 200 m more to reach a true 4* hotel.
"Great hotel close to the train station "
Don't judge this hotel by its exterior. Very comfortable clean hotel directly across the street from the train station. Excellent location. Comfortable room, very clean, excellent customer service. Room was very quiet, easy to get around the city.
Great location opposite the train station, with trains to and from the airport every 10 minutes, and all public transport was free for the duration of our stay, which was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate and very clean. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we thought it was overpriced, but overall we had a very nice stay in a lovely hotel.
"SMALL BUT CENTRAL"
The Warwick has a great location bang opposite the main station at Carnovin and barely a 5-7 minute walk from the lake which is the highlight of Geneva. The rooms are small but comfortable and the service is efficient. The bellmen were courteous and prompt. The breakfast was more than satisfactory and the housekeeping good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travellers but the rooms may be a wee bit too small for a couple and i thought the rooms were expensive for the standard and size of the hotel but that may be the case with all of Geneva
