Amazing location in a classy part of Paris. The location really added to our trip. The staff are brilliant, really welcoming and friendly. We were lucky to have an upgrade to a signature room and enjoyed our signature cocktails! The room was peaceful and we slept with the window open yet didn't hear a sound! Breakfast was just perfect with everything you need Would highly recommend this grand hotel
"When things go wrong you find out a lot about a hotel..."
I arrived in Paris late, after a long day in Frankfurt. I was looking forward to a shower and an early night. When I got to the Westminster, they explained they had no room for me; a plumbing problem had created water damage in the room, and the hotel was otherwise full. I thought about getting mad, but frankly wan't sure what good it would do. They had booked me into hotel around the corner, and they promised me a room upgrade for the subsequent nights of my reservation. They provided a porter to walk with me (and take my bag) to the new hotel, to ensure I wouldn't get lost; and clear instructions about how to get back the next day. This alternative hotel was perfectly adequate, and, when I returned to the Westminster for the rest of my stay, they put me in a wonderful suite on the top floor and left a bottle of a fine champagne. The staff were apologetic throughout. This is the kind of thing that leaves the traveller with a very good impression of a hotel and its staff.
Very good hotel. It is realy good located, very friendly, proffesional and attentiff staff. Perfect Signature room, pratique and nice. I highly recommend the hotel and I surely will stay here again for my next trips to Paris.
"Keeps up a good standard "
The position is very good. Right round the corner from the Ritz. Walking distance from the Opera, and Galleries Lafayette. The hotel is fine. Bedrooms comfortable. The bar is nice. The food is also very good.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfectly romantic, everything we wanted it to be, and more! The hotel was perfectly located for our needs. It was centrally located for excellent shopping and was only a quick walk to the Opera House. It was about a 10 minute walk to the gardens and about a 30 minute stroll to the museums and the Eiffel Tower. The staff was incredibly kind, and everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Due to our flight, we arrived early to the hotel. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. We were able to check in early and were even upgraded. We were also treated to a bottle of champagne and a note of congratulations on our marriage, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Our room was beautiful and so was the bathroom. The lobby looks so grand and elegant. The bar looked like a gentleman's study, and the gardens (even in winter) were breathtaking. We loved everything about it! Room service, which we took advantage of a few times, was fantastic and reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's incredible staff. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon and first stay in Paris a delightfully wonderful and romantic experience!
