"2 days in Paris for work"
I stay 2 nigths at the Westminster; despite the perfect location close to Opera and so close to RER and Metro, the hotel is old fashioned. I had a very small room and the furnitures in the bathroom was quite old. The breakfast room is... the bar, a very small room and it is not unusual you have to wait. Personally i dont like to eat on low tables and armchahairs because it is uncomfortable. Another unpleasant element is the fact that staff often comes into the room, knocking the room but without wait an answer. In 2 days it happened to me 5 times. Finally the price is not proportioned to the service: the hotel is just a 4 stars and I paid 200€ per night plus breakfast.
"Elegant, convenient location, efficient staff and service"
Two of us recently spent an extended week-end in Paris to attend a friend's wedding. Reservation was made easily, confirmed, and questions responded to immediately. Reception area, concierge, baggage, and restaurant staff spoke English well, but politely allowed me to use my French. Our room was large, a huge bathroom with all that one needs to feel elegant and in a luxurious environment. Easy access to shops, sightseeing, restaurants and cafes. Taxis were always available and rides throughout Paris was an experience in itself. Hope to return one day soon.
"great location, very fine service, good price for Paris."
We booked this hotel because it was associated with a pickup for a barge trip. The euro to dollar was in our favor so we opted for a three night stay in a larger room. The decor is traditional. Our room was generous, beds comfortable, the bathroom updated except for a deep, treacherous tub. We have stayed in tiny rooms in Paris and this was a treat! The breakfast was very nice. The real standout was the service. Turn down service, bag storage, welcome, efficient reception. Upon our return in a week we found we had misbooked our one night stay at a different Warwick hotel. The Westminster was booked except for a tiny room, but staff remembered us, took us to look at it for our approval, canceled our other reservation , and gave us complementry drinks. The second room was fully remodeled with a very nice bathroom. We were very happy at this hotel.
Apart from the central location, the staff provided excellent service which made my stay extremely pleasant. There was always someone available to assist and they did so in a manner that was professional, accessible, polite, and generally pleasant. I was surprised by how much I liked this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it.
"Excellent, responsive service"
We spent a three-night stay at he Westminster prior to leaving for a barge trip through Burgundy, then a one-night stay on our return to Paris. The room price was reasonable considering the location and the room size. I've paid more at Left Bank three-stars with closet-sized rooms. I did all my bookings online, somehow botching the one-night return reservation by inadvertently making it at another Warwick property on the Champs Elysee. "No problem." Upon our arrival, the Westminster staff noted the mistake, cancelled that reservation, and put us into a less costly room at the Westminster. We felt well taken care of by responsive staff through both our stays, and we were delighted to be staying in such a convenient and well maintained property for what I thought was a bargain rate.
