Set in a characteristic street between the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon, Hotel White lies just a hundred meters from the splendid Trevi Fountain and in close proximity to all of Rome's other major attractions.
I was traveling with my son for a sightseeing trip to Rome. Found this lovely boutique hotel on Trip Advisor. Everything about the hotel was very nice. Friendly, professional English-speaking staff; clean, well-appointed rooms that were also quiet, and a great location only a couple minute's walk from Trevi Fountain. Metro station is about 5 minute walk, and less than 10 minutes walk to the Pantheon. Perhaps 15 minutes to the Spanish Steps. The hotel is surrounded by a number of shops and excellent restaurants. Reasonably priced, I would stay here again! btw we didn't take advantage but there is a small gym and spa on the lower level!
"NOT a triple room for 3 adults!"
Currently staying at this hotel and even though we booked through BA for 3 adults we have ended up with a double bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The rooms are dated and old, and are also tiny, we are practically tripping over each other and our suitcases. Would not stay here again! The wifi is poor, does not work from the room. Overpriced hotel. Only good thing is the location. Breakfast is okay, there's pastries, cereal, rolls, fruit and yoghurt. The hot food is very crispy bacon, mini hot dogs and scrambled eggs. The bread was stale even when toasted. Not impressed at all to be honest.
"10th wedding anniversary weekend"
We've just got back from a 2 night stay. Lovely hotel in a fantastic location - so many of Rome's famous sights in easy walking distance. Staff really friendly and accommodating - complimentary bottle of wine in the lovely executive room for our anniversary. We ate both nights at That's Amore, just across the cobbles, as it had great TripAdvisor reviews and certainly did not disappoint. Make sure you book for Friday and Saturday nights though as very busy. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again myself.
"Super Location, Clean, Friendly, Accessible, lots of pluses!"
LOCATIONVia Arcione is literally 2 steps to the Trevi Fountain in one direction and 2 steps to public transport or larger chains of commercial shopping/banking etc, in the other direction. A taxi stand is located 40 metres from the property, which is a big deal for travellers with mobility issues. My Mum uses a walker and although the cobbles were a challenge getting to Trevi, the distance was possible for her. Also, the distance to the taxi stand was doable for her, so getting to other parts of the city was easy for us. CLEAN - The room and all the common areas were immaculate. Pressed linens on beds and in bathroom. Even if the breakfast room is underground, the design and lighting makes it seem like you are in daylight. ACCESSIBLE - it says that rooms are accessible which is supposedly true, however, I was told the accessible rooms were booked (so no walk-in shower or supports around the toilet), so the staff upgraded us to a suite for the inconvenience. EXTRAS- The staff noticed from my documents that it was my birthday, and sent up a complimentary bottle of wine. The Library/Games room area has a computer and printer for use and this was convenient as I was there for work and needed to quickly print something I had forgotten.
"A nice boutique hotel in a wonderful location"
Second time in this boutique hotel and we certainly will return. Modern executive room with all the facilities. A bit noisy in the mornings, preferably ask for a quiet room. Good breakfast. Location is the best! From the hotel we can walk all round Roma , Fontana de Trevi , Spanish Steps, The Pantheon very close. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and also good for shopping at Via del Corso. I recommend this hotel for everyone ! The location
