"I ♥ Hotel Zelos"
So many brilliant things to rave about this hotel -- but this property has got its game strong with its location. With its prime spot, conveniently nestled on Fourth and Market, you definitely can’t go wrong in staying here if you’re either touring the city, or attending a convention at nearby Moscone. TIP : Having stayed here a couple of times, I’m pretty much aware of the ridiculous AND exorbitant parking rates (which are pretty much standard in the downtown area). So imagine my delight when I discovered a public garage on 22 Fourth Street (tracked by my Spot My Hero app), situated just on the SAME building as that of Hotel Zelos. Public parking only charges $70/for 3 days WITH in-and-out privileges (as opposed to the hotel’s valet service of $50/NIGHT). Sweet! If that’s not a steal, then I don’t know what is. You’re welcome.:) ‘Will definitely come back to stay here. The smiles and service alone of the people who’d greet and tend to your needs make me look forward to going back to wander again the streets of this beautiful city -- & stay in an equally beautiful hotel.♥ See you soon, Hotel Zelos .
"nice place in city center"
i spent 2 nights over weekend end of april 2016, this is a good place for sleeping over, clean and big enough. not a lot of facilities but this is not really needed when you arrive for 2-3 nights. very easy to walk around and take public transportation to all popular places. price was fair (around $160 per night).
"Great anniversary get away "
This is a very nice hotel that is well appointed. We stayed up on the 9th floor (943) for two nights over the weekend and we could hear zero street noise. The location of the hotel is perfect too. Close walk to the ferry building and shopping is just around the corner. Also the cable car line is 1 maybe 2 streets over. Also, the bar/restaurant is Dirty Habit and they've got great drinks and food. Overall it's a great hotel and look forward to coming back.
"a very good hotel near moscone center ( convention )"
a room in the 8 or 9 th floor is more quiet , ask for a coffee maker maschine - and you will get also coffee capsules for free. High security feeling , we had a room with 2 queen size beds , the bathroom with a tube ( iI asked for that ); good smell- non smoker room - high quality of shampoo, shower gel, hand cream, body lotion - Molton products . High quality of the bed .
"Very Pleasant Hotel"
The room was very nice - larger than I'm used to in San Francisco - airy, bright with two large windows, well-designed and well-decorated. The bed was great, the climate control was good, the room was quiet. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. This used to be a rougher part of town - but it is gentrifying by the second. It is a bit ironic - I've been travelling to San Francisco regularly for 20 years, usually several times a year, and I've never seen so many black private busses, ostentatious displays of money, (not wealth - wealth implies some level of subtlety) and so many people on the street that are utterly destitute and mentally ill. Walking through the Powell Street BART station was like a scene from some dystopian film shot after the end of the world. I used to love travelling on BART - now it is like going for a walk through a septic tank. I'm pretty much done with the city I used to love so much. It is becoming the worst of America - the heedless money, the crass commercialism, and the sick and destitute only acknowledged by avoidance.
