"Very nice small boutique hotel"
I love the interior when you walk in Represents Exactly a small boutique hotel The front desk is so helpful and nice Asked for a room with view got one to market st It is very clean the hallways are nice It's updated not old musty no weird smells Besides the homeless or smoking smell outside But hotel can't do anything about it - The rooms are spacious not tiny We got a room with a jacuzzi so was awesome ! 7th floor facing market st. The water pressure is great and interior too they have mini bar and their tv has lots of good free channels Would def stay again
"One night stay"
Our room was adequate, good bed, bath, and space to move around. The decor was modern without much character. Hallway carpeting was really strange, feeling like hills and valleys underfoot. The staff were not particularly in tune with out of town guests, suggesting the incorrect parking garage. I was basically not too impressed with our stay. We won't be returning because there are better hotels in the same price range.
"Loved the hotel, rooms and staff 👍"
Four of us stayed here at the end of November and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was very courteous and helpful....a delight to deal with. Specifically, Nick on the front desk and Ritchie, the doorman, were extremely helpful. Nick went above and beyond and helped us so much as we tried to organise our drive over to Oakland. Thanks to him we saved a lot of money by using Lyft (which we had never heard of!) We recommend this hotel.
"Nice hotel but very mediocre service and uncomfortable beds"
This hotel is very stylish and the rooms are clean and well appointed. For SF, the room I had was a nice size. However, I found the service to be very cold and uninterested. Each time I went to the front desk, the two attendants were typing or doing something on their computers and seemed to continue to do as I approached. Given that there was nobody around and it was Thanksgiving, I assume it was personal browsing/chatting. They weren't directly rude, but seemed uninterested in being of much help. I'd describe the personnel a the desk as "apathetic" and "transnational." The folks cleaning or doing maintenance on Friday were actually quite friendly. I expect some type of friendliness from the front desk. We were going to stay three nights, but left early because the bed was just incredibly uncomfortable. The desk attendant said all the beds were the same. Overall, this hotel is quite nice and in a great location. However, if you are looking for a comfortable bed and/or friendly service, it's lacking.
"Awesome spot, mega charm!"
The four of us (best couple friends) pick an extra long weekend, pick a new city and land! We've done this all across North america and this Hotel was probably in my top 3! Clean and fresh rooms, boutique feel while maintaining the scale of a full service hotel at reasonable rates. It is in a part of Union that is very accessible for shopping; however, a tip that we only caught when we left: Taxis sit in groups in front of specific hotels, make sure if you are heading to the bridge or Lombard, painted ladies...or anything relatively far enough for a cab that you get one at one of the cab banks (usually in front of other major hotels like the Hilton..) and keep his/her contact info for pick up! You WILL NOT have a fun time hailing one as we walked the entire way up the fun hills back to this hotel from the GG Bridge!
