Located near the Vatican City, the hotel is just a few minutes away from Rome’s historic centre and its many marvellous monuments and finest shops and boutiques.
"If you get a deal"
I stayed for 4 nights B&B in September cost me £207.00 and for the money it was fine. Very clean and modern, beds not so comfy pillows awful but I suppose I got what I paid for. Internet was ok and food average. They run a shuttle into Rome but the times are a bit strange.
"Good hotel but pros and cons"
I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in superior double room.. pros are that it is in a quieter part of Rome so it's good if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. However there is a free shuttle to piazza cavour in the middle of Rome which is a beautiful square perfect for quick lunch before you sightsee. The hotel is also modern with a 24 hour reception where the staff was helpful. On the other hand there were more than a few cons .. shower was slightly dirty and could do with retiling, walls were thin NOT soundproof, shops and restaurants close at around 9.30pm in this area so be sure to stock up and lastly me and my partner had to pay 48 euros in city tax. All in all it was an average stay however I would rate it more 3 star than 4.
"Modern and clean hotel with class staff"
We chose this hotel for our honeymoon stay in Rome and were generally very happy with that choice. In advance, we worried that the promo shots didn't do the place and the rooms justice, but our worries were in vain. Modern, air conditioned double room. Little to no noise from surround rooms and the outside. The hotel offers a free Shuttle bus to and from the city centre, which is brilliant, however, number of seats are limited and last departures were early. Hence, we often opted for public transport instead. Rome is a big city so it is justified to claim that is a hotel situated close to the centre of Rome. If you don't mind a hotel somewhat out of the city centre, this is definitely one to book. Remarkably good value and that at an affordable price level. A simple, sufficient breakfast but not "continental".
"No air con and heaters on"
So I'm moving to another hotel tomorrow as I am stuck in a room (I enquirer about moving rooms but was told all rooms are like this) with no air con and the heaters are all on. It's about 30 degrees in this room with the window full open. I have a full days work to lead tomorrow and I'm not going to sleep either from heat or noise from the trams/train/road due to having the window wide open. The staff were less than helpful - a man came in here and fiddled with the radiate and then pointed at the window and left. Useless. Don't go here unless you want to overheat.
"Ok but nothing special "
The hotel was generally ok, although the room was quite worn out and not very cozy or welcoming. The hotel is in a quiet area but it was very noisy anyway: I could hear the guy in the other room snoring, and since my window was above the restaurant area, I could also hear the chatter of people dining. Sound proofing wasn't good. The restaurant was good, but very minimal in terms of atmosphere and amenities. It really looks more like a bar. The staff was well prepared and courteous. For a 4 star hotel I have to say I have seen far better, but then the price was not bad for Rome.
