"Not my favorite Hyatt experience "
I stayed at the Mag Mile Hyatt four nights this summer during a trip combining business and fun. My room was an executive king- very spacious and comfortable. The service was on point. I just had a couple of annoyances. 1) I checked in around 9:30 at night. The in-room directory stated that the hotel restaurant was open until 11, but when I went down at 9:50, I was turned away and told that it closed at 10pm. There are other nearby food options (Timmy O'Toole's!!), but I was tired and opted for room service. Not a big deal, but I'm always disappointed when hotels don't bother to make sure that guests get the most updated info. 2) It was overcast and/or rainy for most of my stay. This affected whatever satellite TV service the hotel uses. I've included a photo of the only television picture I could manage to get for most of my stay- nothing but scrambled pixels. While not the best time I've ever had at a Hyatt, these issues would not prevent me from staying at this hotel again. Especially for business at the Northwestern hospital campus!
"Nice and convenient"
The hotel is located close to shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly and rooms are relatively clean. We didn't eat on-site but we did have drinks and the wait staff was attentive and professional.
"Christmas weekend in Chicago"
From check in to check out it was Fabulous. The valet not only took care of our vehicle, but also took our luggage. Then another gentleman checked us in right there on the spot. Didn't have to go to the front desk. He said "follow me. I will guide you to your room." He answered questions about Chicago on the way to the room. When we arrived the luggage was there waiting. It was a great week-end and it got better from there. Highly recommend.
"great hotel and great location"
room was spacious. Very clean. Good amenities. Priced fairly. Location was perfect. Just one block from Michigan Avenue and across the street from Northwestern Hospital. Staff was very helpful. We will return for sure.
