I wanted a clean place to simply sleep and feel safe. I was 100% satisfied. The bedding was fresh and there was no lasting odors in the room or hotel.Comment of W. LECOLION , United States the 2016-03-15
"No sign of luxury"
They advertise themselves as a luxurious hotel and that simply is not true. Rooms are tired looking, very basic furniture and amenities, food below average, decor from the 70s or 80's (common parts & lobby). Breakfast is a very basic buffet, The restaurant offers dinner also as a buffet with limited selection. The only really nice thing they have is the view over the river. Location equidistant between Harvard and MIT. About $7 by uber to each of them. Shockingly overpriced small shop /cafe in the lobby. One thing that surprised me on the positive side - they offer a yoga Matt for your room. There's a conference centre that seems to be busy all the time. If they advertised as a 3 star hotel I would say that they delivered. But certainly no sign of luxury anywhere there.
"Ok hotel, terrible beds"
The hotel itself was ok, not quite up to par with the Marriotts down the block. The staff was friendly, but the beds in the room (2 double bed in room) were terrible. There were huge holes in the middle that you roll into all night long. Might be ok for one, but made it tough to share. The air conditioning was fairly loud as well. The room were clean.
Dirty halls to your guestroom. Guestroom missing decorative curtain and black out curtain was falling off the track. Lamp shade was stained and yellowed. Room was outdated and dingy. Outside patio chairs were stacked up in the corner next to my pillow. Loud party was going on until 1:00 am and the hotel did nothing to remedy the problem. Bad attitude at the front desk on multiple occasions. Don't stay here!
This was my first time to Boston. I would recommend hotel. Great location. Ask for Frank he will help you with tourists questions. They provide shuttle to subway. You will have to get a cab or uber to airport
"Great customer service"
I stayed for a quick night and had a little mix up at check-in. Offered me a free breakfast for the next morning. They were really nice and I didn't expect a thing, the mistake wasn't their fault, it was through registration. Will go back!
