Our stay was great and the hotel is high quality as you would expect it. Some minor issues: - The pen in the room (Junior Suite) did not work. I really needed it that evening. Should not happen. - The waiter did not understand my order of two prosecci which is the plural of 1 prosecco. Then we waited 30mins but got a champagne instead. - I like kids, but if there are 10 Spa rules, why not two for: 11) Permanent screaming and yelling prohibited and 12) Maximum recommended bath time 30mins, so that other guests can also use the jacuzzi.Comment of G. "Hyatt Regency coral gables"
Modern and clean rooms, fresh testy food. Friendly stuff ready to help. Located close to shopping malls and in 3min walking distance to car rental office. The pool is clean with warm water. Good place for leisure, work and conferences.
"Dirty underwear in the closet!"
The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately i made a most disgusting find in the closet when i went to get the extra blanket; as i pulled out the container holding the blanket, out popped a pair of grey, visibly stained mens underwear! It was approximately 3am, and i was way too tired to call the front desk. I took pictures and showed them at the front desk as i checked out in the morning. I was told 'sorry!' I've stayed at several different Hyatts in the past, and NEVER have i experienced anything like this. I choose hotels based on their reputation. Hyatt is now tarnished for me.
"Staying for an overnight flight"
Nice hotel and just 18 minutes away from the airport. The area of Coral Gables is gorgeous and much cleaner than Hialeah or next to the airport. The room was clean, spacious and with an updated finish. We did like the customer service provided by everyone at the hotel. They all received us with a smile and always wanted to know if we were happy with our stay.
"Go to place in Coral Gables"
I spend a week every month in Coral Gables and this is my go-to hotel. Often the least expensive of the higher-end hotels. Recent menu changes in the restaurant seem good (food has been of variable quality recently but getting back to its former excellent quality).
"Solid nice place in central location."
Typical Hyatt quality in downtown coral gables. Rooms were big, clean and comfy, balconies overlooking central pool courtyard are nice. However don't expect to use the balcony due to lots of pigeon poop. Refrigerator in room is a plus. Not much of a dining on property but you can walk just a few blocks to many many restaurants of all types and ranges. Parking is convent under the hotel, expensive but it is what it is in today's world.
