Our stay was great and the hotel is high quality as you would expect it. Some minor issues: - The pen in the room (Junior Suite) did not work. I really needed it that evening. Should not happen. - The waiter did not understand my order of two prosecci which is the plural of 1 prosecco. Then we waited 30mins but got a champagne instead. - I like kids, but if there are 10 Spa rules, why not two for: 11) Permanent screaming and yelling prohibited and 12) Maximum recommended bath time 30mins, so that other guests can also use the jacuzzi.Comment of G. "Nice hotel, but avoid the restaurant for breakfast"
The Hyatt Coral Gables is a nice location convenient to the shops and restaurants of Coral Gables. The hotel itself is very nice with a resort like pool area. Staff is exceeding friendly and helpful. Our stay was marred by a couple of problems. First we found the guest rooms to be very warm while the public areas are on the cold side. Upon arriving in the rooms the thermostats are set to 74. The wouldn't be a problem except the thermostats don't seem to do much. The first night I set it to 68 and it was still very warm. The second night I set it to 65 and still too warm! Our group had four different rooms on different floors and we all had he same experience. The breakfast buffet is $22. Not needing that much food our group opted to order from the menu. Our waiter told us it would take at least 30 minutes since the kitchen is focused on the buffet. We should have gone with the buffet. By the time you add the price of a cup of coffee to your omelette you've reached the price of the buffet without the wait.
Love this hotel. Many nice restaurants and shops in the surrounding area (2 blocks to Miracle Mile / Coral Way). Pool and property were spotless. Breakfast was served until 11am each day, so were were able to sleep in on the weekend. Special thanks go to Talia for making our stay special.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt while there on business. The pool was great - food was delicious and room was clean. The wait staff in the dining area were not as attentive. I had to flag them down to order breakfast.

I was happy with the hotel. Only minor issue were small ants by the refrigerator. If you live in Miami this happens all time perhaps they can do slag better job. Excellent housekeeping service and staff was attentive.
The room was very spacious and nicely appointed. The staff was eager to accommodate us and very friendly. That tried to make us feel at home. The price is a bit on the high side but exceeded by the value we received.
