"Always a pleasant stay."
This is our favorite place to stay in Denver. Great location, nice newer facilities and updated rooms, tremendous staff with great attention to detail. Rooms can be expensive, which is the current "downtown hotel climate" we live in, I guess, but other than that no real negatives here. Sam at the Strata Bar deserves special mention. Always welcoming and provides great service and conversation. Kudos Hyatt!
I stayed here over Christmas, and had a superb stay. I got Hyatt Goldpassport to issue an suite upgrade. I ended up with the Cottonwood suite, which was simply amazing. Plenty of room, nice and quiet, beautiful view of the mountains, and downtown Denver. Nicole Orban, Front Office Manager, handled the reservation and check-in with the utmost ease, and friendly service, all the staff at this Hotel are very accommodating, and great in providing information. Since I am a Diamond Member, I had access to the Regency Club, this happens to be one of the best in the Hyatt family of Hotels. The food had a variety of dishes. The best came at night with wonderful deserts, they are to die for. I had some problems checking out, with the computer not recognizing my stay for qualifying stays, so Katie Hoglund, Hotel Assistant Manager, stepped in to correct the folio. Parking is expensive, I took RTD light rail to the Hotel, there are two stations close to the Hotel, Convention Center, and 16th & California, In addition the Free RTD 16th Street Mall Shuttle is close by, you don't need a car if you are moving about the downtown area.
"Excellent hotel in downtown"
Very nice comfortable hotel in downtown, very close to 16th Street mall, and within walking distance of miseums, even in winter. Friendly staff, and has an in-house Starbucks that also sells salads, pizzas, juices and sandwiches.
"Perfect location! Nice hotel with great facilities"
I've booked a club room and requested a room on the highest available floor which I received. Welcoming staff in a majestic lobby area with a lovely Christmas tree. Check in was easy, quick and happened really professional. High speed elevators to the top floor (37 levels). My room was on the 34th floor. Spacious, clean room and bathroom, with all amenities needed. (eg.: mini bar and safe). Club lounge with hors d'oeuvres, small bites/fruit and free drinks (free beer and wine during the evening), panoramic views on the Rocky Mountains and the city. Attitude bar and restaurant on the top floor. Breathtaking views, cosy atmosphere. Top notch. Breakfast for club room guests needs to be taken in the club lounge! Overall a very nice, recent and decent hotel!
"Book a Regency Club Room"
When it's all said and done, booking a Regency room or suite that allows access to the Regency Club on the 35th floor is worth it; especially if you're rooming with multiple people. Free breakfast in the morning, snacks during the day, hors d'oeuvres after 5pm and dessert starting at 8pm. Also, after 5 pm they serve complimentary beer and wine. Liquor and mixed drinks are $7/drink. Water, tea, coffee and sodas are complimentary all day long. I stayed on the 35th floor and the view was great.
