"Nice, but pricey"
We stayed in the city for two nights. This was a pleasure trip just for a few days. While the room was just fine, I was disappointed with the fact that I could hear my neighbors every move. I heard their alarms go off the two mornings we were there. This hotel is set up for business people.
"Amenities & convenience"
A place to stay with a good in-house restaurant and a car rental and FedEx store to boot. Hotel key needed to power the elevator to your room's floor during night hours. Big bar in lobby. Directly across from Convention Center. All in all, much to recommend this lodging.
"Very nice Hotel"
They offer a great service; check in and check out on line, really saves time. Everyone we encountered was most helpful and very pleasant, right down to someone from housekeeping who brought me a toothbrush/toothpaste/mouthwash because I forgot mine. The room was large enough except when it came to eating breakfast from room service ... that was not enjoyable. Everything else worked well and we had a most pleasant stay after enjoying the ballet. I do wish they served food just a little later. By the time we got back to the hotel around 10:00 there was no place to get food. We went to Peak Lounge but they said the cook was gone and to go downstairs. Went to the downstairs bar but wings or nachos at 10:00 was not what my tummy wanted. All in all I'd definitely stay here again if for no other reason that the pleasant personalities.
Pretty nice room at a decent location. I was here for a conference, and the hotel location is good for me to explore the surrounding city. 16 street mall is just 2 block down, and the museum and Colorado state building are all within walking distance. Room is pretty standard but I must commend on the Fitness Center at the Hotel. It is easily the biggest fitness center I had been in a hotel. Had a good work out there and top it off with a hot tub experience near the pool.
"Very Average for a Hyatt"
The front desk was wonderful and very nice. The lobby is beautiful and inviting but the rooms were bland with mismatched decor, haphazardly placed pictures on the wall, and lacking little touches like bathrobes. The housekeeping missed a lot and that gives me concern when I am sleeping and showering in a room that many others have used before. The hotel location is great! You can walk to several shopping areas and the capitol easily. Unless you plan to leave Denver for day trips, etc. you don't really need to rent a car. The convention center is right next door and there are lots of museums walking distance too. The rooftop hot tub is worthless because you cannot tell you are on the roof because there is a tall wall blocking any view so it feels more like an back alley hot tub. The gym is very nice and the pool is small but good enough for laps if kids aren't playing in it. The bar is in a nice location and is pretty nice. Overall, this is a nice hotel but I was a little disappointed with a few things compared to other Hyatts I have stayed at.
