A true luxury hotel. A bit distant from center but for those Who like walk, no problem. Only negative aspect is that separate toilet and bath.Comment of B. Ömer Faruk , Turkey the 2015-11-01
The Front desk staff are always helpful. You can count on both Norman and Nadine especially. The club level staff was also excellent as always. They Hyatt is by far my favorite hotel in the area. Plenty of places to eat, close to work, and nightlife if you have time.
"Long Weekend in Dusseldorf"
We stayed at the Hyatt on our recent trip. I lived in Dusseldorf thirty years ago and wanted a hotel that was close enough to the Aldstadt to walk into town. I judge hotels on first impressions and I was not disappointed. Although check in was not until the afternoon, we arrived before lunch and the staff were very professional and accommodating; we were able to dispose of baggage and head into the town without fuss. The cleanliness was of the highest standards, both in the room and the public bar and toilet areas. We did not dine in the hotel but we did use the public bar which offered a wide range. Although the price of alcohol was more than the local bars, you would expect this of a 5* hotel. I am glad to say the mark up was no where near the prices you would pay in a similar hotel in say London or Paris. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend highly.
"great views of harbour, very nice club lounge, good location"
Good location with great views of harbour from floor to ceiling windows in rooms and very nice club lounge. Located on the rein, the hotel provides you with suggested jogging routes and it is a pleasant half hour walk to the city centre or short taxi ride. Also a short distance to airport and Messe Dusseldorf fair grounds.
"My best hotel in Europe"
Spent 3 days on Christmas 2016. Although Dusseldorf was a dull city, especially during these days, we were fully satisfied by our accommodation. There is no much to say. A 5* hotel in everything, with the most enjoyable room (design and view) with the most enjoyable breakfast (food and premises) and the most stimulating location of the city (and it didn’t matter at all that it was a bit far from downtown). How nice that hotel was!
"Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lounge area is a must."
Actually the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel and I travel frequently. A very well run lounge with a nice view. The lounge staff were friendly and sincere. I will only stay at this hotel in Dusseldorf.
