"Not Hyatt Regency quality"
Run down property, confusing layout, noisy in-room AC makes for sleepless night, smelly carpet in halls. Check in was seamless at least. Staff very accomodating, but just cannot make up for the condition of the place. Also cannot get from main building to outer buildings easily, especially when raining.
Air conditioning didn't work. A very warm night. Engineer came twice Not much else to write about. I know the staff tried their best to get us some help. I guess the hotel system is old. I need more to write about and there is nothing else
"Modern property inside great grounds"
We stayed one night at this property and had a dinner and breakfast, property adjacent to Golf Course with various function rooms and spa , restaurant is ok but service is average wine selection is limited, rooms are good size and modern , clean
"Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay"
Travelling Pacific Highway we stopped here overnight. Lovely room and decor. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and there was a wide variety to choose from. Would definitely stay here again. Just sad we didn't get chance to use the pool or sit out by the fire pit last night.
"No complimentary Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets!"
I had the worst experience ever. After emailing and calling to confirm that I would get two complimentary tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for making a reservation (did my due diligence). The manager Edward Bobbett informed me that I was mistaken and would not provide the tickets. He went as far as to ask for the person who made the error when I called, which I didn't get (make sure you get a name when you talk to anyone at Hyatt other wise you out of luck). He even went as far as to say if I would've booked a more expensive booking, like double the price, then he would provide the tickets, but the reservations were at 50% discount because it was a same day booking and most booking sites like Hotels.com or Bookings.com has the $250 rooms at half price). So I won't be coming back here. If you book or reserve a room, make sure you get a name or you will have to shell out $100 for two tickets at Monterey Bay Aquarium. It really is terrible when they make a mistake and they will not correct if fully especially at a place like the Hyatt. I would've canceled right then and there, but with parents with me it was not feasible.
