"Far below the expected standards"
I have stayed many times at the Hyatt Montreal. The price is always on the high side for the quality however the service is usually very good. My stay this time was a total disappointment as far as the accommodation was concerned. The décor and walls in the bathroom were extremely beaten up and the furniture in the room was deplorable. Dirty and worn beyond even medium presentation.
"Great family location"
Great value for the money. Safe walking on st Catherine street with a Starbucks right beside hotel.staff is helpful and friendly. Valet parking is $32 but well worth it. This hotel is on the east end of st Catherine so a lot of walking but it's a beautiful city with lots to see.
"Anniversary in montreal"
Upon arriving at the Hyatt Regency in Montreal....right in the heart of the arts district....we found that Malak and staff placed rose pedals and chocolates in our room for a superb greeting! The hotel, unfortunately had a very rowdy crowd on the 2nd night....however, Daniel the hotel manager offered to help compensate us with a future stay. We are looking forward to going back soon!
The workers are very welcoming and attentive. Our room though, seems ignored. The room is very dusty and our house keeper has not tended to our room. The beds are extremely comfortable, one of the best sleeps in my life! Overall a nice hotel. Would definitely come back.
"March Break Weekend Away"
Great Location! BEAUTIFUL CITY!!! Nice hotel.... We stayed there over the March 4-5 weekend for the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE festival. The hotel was right in the middle of the action and the event was completely free to attend and walk around. It was a small festival but also had other satellite locations. It was really cold the Saturday night so we just stayed around the hotel area. The hotel was central to the whole event so we had a great home base to go in to warm up and back out to the festival. Nice, clean room and easy to park and get down to the shopping centre and then the festival. The only issue wasn't with the festival noise, it was the pack of university students who were staying on our floor running around like it was adore party from 2 am to 5 am.... but I guess that is what you get fro staying at the festival hotel.
