"Nice views and beautiful grounds"
I wondered why the Hyatt Regency was less expensive than its competitors. Once I got here, I realized that it is across the bridge from the shops. I knew it was in the marina. The hotel has a free shuttle that takes people to the beach and they offer convenient shuttle service to the cruise ports for $7 a person. That said, it is kind of a resorty hotel. If you are coming to relax, it is a very nice value. The pools are very nice and spacious. Jacuzzi as well. There are a couple of restaurants on the property. We went to the Pelican one for a sunset and happy hour. Our room was gigantic. Wow. And our balcony had a nice view of the harbor... and the very busy street and draw bridge. Haha, but I didn't mind. I can see the cruise ships and had an unobstructed view of the harbor. They do have a party space at the top of the tower with a panoramic view. If you can, take the elevator up and see. It's worth it. The concierge was super helpful. The Speedway Gas Station across the street has a very well stocked convenience store. ;) No $5 in-room bottled water for me.
Needs updating of AC units and other lesser things. The parking lot needs to be repaved. The waterfall in the pool was cut into for maintenance and left unfinished. Our room had no patio or balcony to sit out on. Lesson learned on that.
"25.oo dollars a day to park."
Stayed here a few times. Never happy about paying 25 a day to park. Beautiful pools and grounds. Get ready to pay for everything, needed to print out concert tickets, business center charged 7.00$. I won't stay here again, I just don't like to be charged for every little thing, although there is free water in lobby.
"Best value for your money!"
This hotel is a great place to stay for 1 night, or several nights. We only stayed for 1 night but said we would be back the night before our next cruise. The location is great. You can walk to just about every store and several restaurants. They have a free shuttle to the beach. The room is modern and well equipped. The only complaint we had was that the room smelled like mildew.
"Fosters to deceive "
Great location if you are into expensive motor yachts .The reception is grand and the natives are friendly. Charging for parking is a bit naughty. The room is more like a motel than a hotel open landing and a map to get you from reception to our room. The facilities are great 3 pools a sauna and steam room.
