Our stay went well. Very clean, quiet and great location.Comment of S. Cory , Canada the 2016-07-06
My wife and I planned this trip to celebrate our eighth wedding anniversary so it was important that we stay in a quality hotel. The Hyatt did not disappoint -on any level. In fact, the gentleman whom checked us in, a young man by the name of Jay Wong, was especially accommodating. Not only did he permit us to check in more than hour early, he gave us a room with a breathtaking view of down town Toronto and a king size bed. Upon settling into our room, we received a call from the front desk. It was Jay. He called to make sure that we were happy with the room and asked for, by then, the third time if there was anything at all that he could do to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We were very impressed. Later that night, there was a knock at our door. I opened it to find a member of the in-room dining team holding a tray. He said that Jay wanted to wish us a very happy anniversary. The tray contained two small bottles of wine and two slices of decadent chocolate cake trimmed beautifully with various berries. We were speechless.Comment of C. Adam , Canada the 2016-04-10

"Great Location for Jay's Game"
Nice downtown hotel, close to Rogers Centre.....my wife left property in the room and they are sending it back to us. I would return here for sure. Very clean room, staff was great. Parking attendant was also great.
"Almost perfect "
The only thing to say is the gap between the bed and the false wall in the room. For the rest excellent service, clean and near everything. The price with Expedia was better than on Hyatt site wich was almost cheap for a 4* hotel. The view was super!
Our room was very clean, the bathroom was good, great shower, needs more mirrors and lighting. The beds are very comfy, the breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly. I would definitely return
Enjoyed my 2 night stay. Smooth checkin. He read out my diamond benefits as I expected.Got upgraded to 20th floor. There was construction goin on at the time. The huge crane starts operating at 7am which caused bit disturbance.Breakfast buffet was good. But this hotel didn't have lounge for evening canapés like other Hyatts. I loved the central location as it was short walk to Chinatown, Kensington, cn tower, st. Lawrence market.. I also used the luggage drop off service, which was excellent when we left for Niagara Falls. Overall It was a positive experience.
"Great location for downtown activities: business and fun. Walking distance to everything."
My industry group had its most recent meetings in Toronto. The organizer selected this hotel. It a great place. The rooms are nice, the conference facilities are what you'd expect and the location was great. I would go back, but this place is really nice, and it reflects in the price. Not a show stopper, but a bit expensive. The hotel is located in the heart of the Toronto downtown area 3 blocks from the Rogers Centre and the CN Tower. It's on King street along a stretch of restaurants and night spots. It's on the trolley line and walking distance to the subway. Lots of hub-bub, day and night. Nice location. The room is small, but nicely designed. The bedstand side and the desk/tv sides of the room are equipped with specially designed furniture modules. It is different, it looks nice and works for me. The room has small but functional closet area, with an iron/ironning board The bathroom was smallish with a combined bathtub/shower and narrow sink area; it was ok. The room's wifi worked ok and was included in the room price. My first night, I got in very late on a Sunday night, the only place to eat was in the bar area from a limited menu. That turned out really well. For other evenings, I explored the King Street area; it has a rich selection of restaurants... a lively place every night of the week! The lobby area is big and welcoming. There's lots of space for impromptu meetings. I went to the gift shop at least once a day to buy a bottle of pop or to get a small snack. The front desk staff was very helpful. With Toronto in the post season baseball playoffs, the Blue Jays were an exciting part of the city. I went to a Toronto v Yankees game. It was a lot of fun and only a 3 block walk from the hotel. Airport transportation to the hotel. As usual, from the airport, I took the 162 Rocket bus to the Toronto subway Kipling station. From that station, I was able to take the subway all the way to my hotel (actually to within 2 blocks). The bus ride was about 20 minutes and the subway rides was about 30 minutes for a total of $3.25. Tips: the bus driver expects exact change. The bus was really crowded; I was luck to get a seat. Once you pay for the bus, the subway is no extra charge. Airport transportation back to the airport. Going back to the airport, I took the new Union Pearson Express train. The Eurostar quality train runs from Union Station every 15 minutes and takes 25 minutes to get to the Toronto airport. This costs $12. It is much more comfortable, faster and easier than the subway. For me, I needed to get a taxi from the hotel to Union station. For my next visit, I will use the UP Express service, round trip.
