This is a very comfortable hotel. We had excellent service from RAJ in the restaurant - extremely efficient and most helpful beyond the call of duty. As well, ROB on the Front Desk allowed us a much later check out than normal which assisted our travels greatly. Strong recommendation.Comment of P. Marcus , Australia the 2016-09-18

My wife and I planned this trip to celebrate our eighth wedding anniversary so it was important that we stay in a quality hotel. The Hyatt did not disappoint -on any level. In fact, the gentleman whom checked us in, a young man by the name of Jay Wong, was especially accommodating. Not only did he permit us to check in more than hour early, he gave us a room with a breathtaking view of down town Toronto and a king size bed. Upon settling into our room, we received a call from the front desk. It was Jay. He called to make sure that we were happy with the room and asked for, by then, the third time if there was anything at all that he could do to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We were very impressed. Later that night, there was a knock at our door. I opened it to find a member of the in-room dining team holding a tray. He said that Jay wanted to wish us a very happy anniversary. The tray contained two small bottles of wine and two slices of decadent chocolate cake trimmed beautifully with various berries. We were speechless.Comment of C. Adam , Canada the 2016-04-10

"Location excellent, comfort average, side entrance off Front St"
Curved headboard design made sleep very uncomfortable as pillows kept sliding onto headboard, worse setup for headboard I have experienced. Room have bathtub showers prfer walkin. Room size smaller than I expected.
It was very nice, the weather not so great for me since am from Los Angeles . But the environment feels defiantly great. I try this Asian food place in front of the hotel it was delicious since kik kat was too busy
"Great stay in the entertainment district"
I was quite impressed with this hotel after reading some of the reviews. We found none of the complaints of other travelers to be our experience. We travel quite a bit & stay in some pretty high end hotels like Four Seasons & Venetian in Las Vegas. It wasn't as posh but we certainly had a clean, comfortable stay. This hotel room wasn't that big but certainly not as tiny as some NYC hotel rooms! It was more than adequate for 2 people. It was very quiet at all hours. We found our room to be very clean & I am a stickler for cleanliness especially in the bathroom. The staff was always very pleasant & went out of their way to assist us with our every question. We did not eat at the hotel but there are several restaurants in walking distance. I was worried about being cold at night but the heat worked great keeping us toasty warm. The Starbucks on site was a plus but there are several coffee places in walking distance as well. If we need to stay in Toronto again we will definitely be back to the Hyatt Regency!
This hotel is walking distance from almost everything and there is tons to see and do nearby. You are in the heart of Toronto with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. I was here for 2 days on business and really enjoyed my stay. the gym is large and well equipped and there is an outdoor pool which would be nice in the summer. I had a decent sleep here and found the beds and room comfortable.
"Theatre District location "
I have stayed here several times for business. It is in the heart of the Theatre District. Only steps to The Princess of Wales Theatre and a few blocks to Rogers Stadium and CN Tower. Great restaurants to satisfy every pallet line King Street. Rooms are tastefully appointed. Room service is excellent and good value.
