"Hyatt on Burrard"
The Hyatt is located in central Vancouver. A great place to walk most places in town. There are many restaurants nearby - so many it's hard to choose. The Hotel itself has a 24/7 gym, hot tub and swimming pool. The restaurant has excellent food and drinks - nice atmosphere too. Book your parking when you check in to save $.
Two adults, one kid and two babies stayed for 5 nights at Hyatt Regency. The room had two double beds and two baby cots. Despite we told them we have twins, there was only one cot but they brought another cot shortly after we arrived at the room. Our room was on the 14th floor so had a great view. It was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, just the right firmness for me. The location is great right in the heart of downtown, close to shops, restaurants and so on. There are two things that I did not like about this hotel. One is weird automated elevator system that could make you wait for a long time. Another was not so good breakfast. Well, the breakfast buffet itself was good but the service was almost non-existent. No wait stuff came to our table asking if we want refill of orange juice or coffee. When I went to look for orange juice, a waitress told me "You are supposed to get it at the table."
"Modern hotel, very nice staff"
I had a two-night stay at Hyatt regency Vancouver last weekend. The hotel room is quite new and clean with modern decoration. The staff in the hotel are very nice, especially the concierges in the lounge. They are all super friendly and welcoming. However the lounge itself is small and the breakfast is lack of choices.
"Amazing Hotel and staff"
If ever in Vancouver and seeking a wonderful experience, I suggest the Hyatt on Burrard Street, the rooms are always clean, staff will go the extra mile, and the meals both in the Bar and Restaurant have been exquisite with amazing atmosphere that is both welcoming and comfortable for the weary business traveler
"Terrific business hotel"
Staff and amenities were fantastic. We hosted meetings and used the conference and banquet facilities. Outstanding service and food. The bar on the second floor was comfortable and served great food and drink...loved the micro-brews. Nice to have a Starbucks in the lobby. The complimentary umbrella to use was a nice touch given the amount of rain that Vancouver gets.
