"Our stay at Hyatt"
A great stay at Hyatt Regency at Waikiki. Location was right across from the main beach and bell desk and staff provided all and any assistance needed during our stay. Our upgrade to the ocean view was a bit more than expected but worth it. Next time I will ensure it is included in our accom package.
"”Fraud” Regency Club. Don't spend any extra money for...."
Regency club of this Hyatt Waikiki have absolutely no value to adults who wish to enjoy relax resort life in Hawaii. Beverages other than Juice and Coffee (even beer, glass of wine) cost extra, and they weren't cheap($6-10). We stayed more than 100 Hyatt hotels and enjoyed regency club level services, however I have never seen the club which charge bucks to drink alc. beverages. This regency club at Waikiki is fraud. Don't spend any bucks for.
"Great hotel, but flawed"
Excellent room with an excellent staff. Each encounter with a team member was positive. The food and beverage program left a lot to be desired. I found the prices to be too high for the quality of the product. Most disappointed in SHOR.
"Fabulously Restful Stay"
Our room at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki was spacious, larger than most hotels, very clean with great ocean view from the 20h floor. Toiletries the best. The staff were very friendly, helpful, efficient, accommodating - from the front desk, chamber ladies, RC Lounge, bell desk,
"Centrally located, friendly staff, great property"
We stayed in the Ewa Tower on the 23rd floor. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable. The room for the shower/bathtub and toilet is on the smaller side, but manageable. Check-in was really fast, but I had priority check-in. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating. One day we had heavy rain and winds, both the front desk and the bell hops went out of their way to find some umbrellas for us. Also, every afternoon and evening, there was a greeter at the elevator. The property has shops, cafes, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they have an onsite farmer's market. We walked around the property and relaxed at the pool. The property is also located across the street from the beach and is centrally located in Waikiki. It's about 2 blocks from the new International Market Place. On our last night, I ordered room service which was just ok. The shrimp tempura was really tasty, but the soba was mediocre. We didn't eat at any of the onsite restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
